No. 4 Tennessee Fends Off No. 15 Missouri Behind Zeigler’s 21-Point Performance

Zakai Zeigler scored a season-high 21 points and dished out eight assists, leading No. 4 Tennessee to an 85-81 victory over No. 15 Missouri in Knoxville.

Igor Milicic Jr. matched Zeigler with 21 points, adding 10 rebounds, five assists, and four blocks in an all-around dominant performance.

For Missouri, Tamar Bates led all scorers with 22 points, while Tony Perkins contributed 16. Caleb Grill added 11 points, but the Tigers couldn’t overcome Tennessee’s hot 3-point shooting (10-for-15, 66.7%).

Despite committing only three turnovers and forcing 11, Missouri struggled defensively, allowing the Volunteers to shoot 50% from the field.

No. 2 Duke Extends Nation’s Longest Winning Streak with Rout of Syracuse

Duke never trailed as Tyrese Proctor scored 16 points to lead the No. 2 Blue Devils to an 83-54 blowout over Syracuse.

Kon Knueppel added 12 points, while Cooper Flagg chipped in 11 for Duke (20-2, 12-0 ACC), which extended its winning streak to 16 games.

Syracuse struggled offensively, finishing with its lowest point total of the season. Jyare Davis and J.J. Starling each scored 12 points, while Naheem McLeod added 10 for the Orange (10-13, 4-8 ACC), who have now lost four of their last five games.

Duke remains unbeaten in conference play, posting its best ACC start since the 2005-06 season (14-0).

PJ Haggerty scored a game-high 23 points, and Dain Dainja stuffed the stat sheet with 21 points, six rebounds, four assists, four blocks, and three steals, lifting No. 17 Memphis to an 83-71 win over Tulsa.

The Tigers (19-4, 9-1 AAC) shot 56.7% from the field to keep hold of first place in the conference.

Tulsa’s Tyshawn Archie came off the bench for 17 points, and the Golden Hurricane shot 53.6% overall. However, they dropped their third straight game and couldn’t contain Memphis’ offensive attack.


Rutgers Stuns No. 23 Illinois in Upset Victory

Dylan Harper returned from a two-game absence to pour in 28 points, six rebounds, and five assists, leading Rutgers to an 82-73 upset win over No. 23 Illinois in Piscataway.

The Scarlet Knights (12-11, 5-7 Big Ten) led by 17 points but saw their advantage disappear before regrouping with a 15-5 late-game run.

Ace Bailey contributed 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Jeremiah Williams added 13 points to fuel the upset.

For Illinois (15-8, 7-6 Big Ten), Will Riley led with 18 points and six assists off the bench, but the Fighting Illini have now lost five of their last eight games.

No. 24 Michigan Holds Off Oregon for Third Straight Win

Will Tschetter came off the bench to score 17 points, leading No. 24 Michigan to an 80-76 victory over Oregon in Ann Arbor.

Danny Wolf posted a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Vladislav Goldin also scored 15 points for the Wolverines (17-5, 9-2 Big Ten).

Oregon (16-7, 5-7 Big Ten) has now lost four straight and five of its last six. Jackson Shelstad led the Ducks with 18 points, while Nate Bittle (16 points) and TJ Bamba (13 points, 10 rebounds) also contributed. However, Oregon couldn’t complete the comeback in the final minutes.
