New York Red Bulls Extend Lewis Morgan with Two-Year Contract
The New York Red Bulls secured Scottish midfielder Lewis Morgan with a new two-year contract, including options for 2027 and 2028.
Morgan, 28, had a stellar 2023 season, recording 13 goals and seven assists in 28 matches, earning him MLS Comeback Player of the Year honors.
Head coach Sandro Schwarz praised Morgan’s leadership and impact, stating:
“Lewis is an incredible human being, who means a lot to our locker room and our club. He is a very impactful player and we are excited to get the opportunity to continue to work with him.”
Morgan, who previously played for Inter Miami CF (2020-21), has totaled 34 goals and 23 assists in 123 MLS matches.

CF Montreal Strengthens Defense with Craig and Petrasso Signings
CF Montreal bolstered its defense with the acquisitions of Brandan Craig and Luca Petrasso ahead of the 2025 season.
Brandan Craig
The 20-year-old defender joins Montreal on a deal through 2025, with option years from 2026 to 2028. Craig developed in the Philadelphia Union system before playing on loan at Austin FC (2023) and USL Championship side El Paso Locomotive (2024).
Montreal CEO Gabriel Gervais highlighted Craig’s technical ability:
“He showed consistency and good technical quality on the ball during camp. He’s a young player who can play as a central defender or on the right side of the defense.”
Luca Petrasso
The 24-year-old fullback signs through 2025, with options for 2026 and 2027. Petrasso has four assists in 37 MLS matches with Toronto FC (2022) and Orlando City (2023-24).
Gervais expressed excitement about adding Petrasso’s versatility:
“He is a versatile player with MLS experience who will provide support on the left side, both in the wing back and center back position.”

Toronto FC Signs Homegrown Goalkeeper Adisa De Rosario
Toronto FC signed goalkeeper Adisa De Rosario to a two-year homegrown contract, with options through 2028.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper made 55 saves in 25 appearances for Toronto FC II in MLS NEXT Pro. He also gained experience with loan spells in the Canadian Premier League (2022, 2023).
The move provides depth in goal for Toronto, as De Rosario continues his development in MLS first-team action.
