Cale Makar posted his first career six-point game (two goals, four assists), while Nathan MacKinnon added two goals and three assists in Colorado’s convincing home win over San Jose. Jonathan Drouin and Martin Necas also contributed a goal and assist each, and Joel Kiviranta tallied once. Mackenzie Blackwood turned aside 31 shots as Colorado extended its win streak to four. The Avs announced in the third period they had acquired forwards Brock Nelson and William Dufour from the Islanders in exchange for Oliver Kylington, Calum Ritchie, and two draft picks.
William Eklund (goal, assist), Macklin Celebrini, and Fabian Zetterlund scored for San Jose, which failed to stretch its winning streak beyond two. Alexandar Georgiev had 25 saves.
Jets 4, Flyers 1
Mark Scheifele delivered a goal and two assists in host Winnipeg’s win over Philadelphia, snapping the Jets’ three-game slide (0-2-1). Kyle Connor added a goal and an assist, while Nikolaj Ehlers and Adam Lowry each scored once. Gabriel Vilardi picked up three helpers, and Eric Comrie made 21 stops.
Matvei Michkov netted the lone Flyers goal. Samuel Ersson recorded 23 saves, and Philadelphia dropped to 1-2-1 in its last four.
Stars 3, Flames 2 (OT)
Jason Robertson netted two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to lift Dallas from a two-goal deficit to an undefeated 4-0 homestand. He also assisted on Wyatt Johnston’s score, while Roope Hintz added two helpers and Jake Oettinger made 26 saves.
Joel Farabee and Mikael Backlund tallied for Calgary, and Dan Vladar turned away 24 shots in his 100th NHL appearance.
Panthers 3, Blue Jackets 0
Sam Reinhart and Aleksander Barkov each collected a goal and two assists as Florida blanked visiting Columbus. Reinhart’s power-play marker moved him past Pavel Bure for fifth on the Panthers’ all-time goals list at 153. Sergei Bobrovsky earned his 423rd career win (tying Tony Esposito for 10th in NHL history) with 16 saves against his former team. Elvis Merzlikins made 33 saves for the Blue Jackets, who lost for the first time since the 4 Nations Face-Off break (4-1-0).

Hurricanes 3, Bruins 2
Seth Jarvis scored with 18.6 seconds to play, boosting Carolina over Boston in Raleigh. Sebastian Aho and Brent Burns also lit the lamp as the Hurricanes posted their third straight victory (after just two wins in February). Pyotr Kochetkov stopped 32 shots.
Morgan Geekie recorded both Bruins goals, while Andrew Peeke assisted on each. Joonas Korpisalo finished with 20 saves for Boston, losers of five of its last eight outings.
Lightning 6, Sabres 5
Oliver Bjorkstrand netted the decisive tally in his Tampa Bay debut, vaulting the Lightning over Buffalo at home for their 11th victory in 13 games. Bjorkstrand, acquired from Seattle along with Yanni Gourde, gave Tampa Bay a 6-5 lead at 1:40 of the third. Jake Guentzel secured his second Lightning hat trick, Nick Paul and Darren Raddysh added a goal and an assist apiece. Rasmus Dahlin and JJ Peterka each totaled a goal and an assist for Buffalo, which missed a late 6-on-3 chance.
Oilers 3, Canadiens 2 (OT)
Evan Bouchard scored with seven seconds left in overtime to help host Edmonton snap a six-of-seven skid. Leon Draisaitl (one goal, one assist) and Connor McDavid (two assists) also fueled the Oilers. Corey Perry notched the other Edmonton goal, and Stuart Skinner compiled 25 saves.
Cole Caufield and Joel Armia scored for Montreal, which suffered its second straight loss. Sam Montembeault recorded 29 stops.
Predators 5, Kraken 3
Filip Forsberg’s two-goal performance and two assists from Steven Stamkos lifted Nashville over visiting Seattle, giving the Preds wins in back-to-back contests. Brady Skjei, Michael McCarron, and Luke Evangelista each had single tallies. Juuse Saros denied 22 shots.
Adam Larsson, Jared McCann, and Michael Eyssimont scored for the Kraken, who are 3-6-1 in their past 10. Joey Daccord yielded five goals on 33 attempts.
Utah Hockey Club 4, Red Wings 2
Kevin Stenlund’s first goal in 24 games broke a third-period tie as Utah edged Detroit. Dylan Guenther, Nick Schmaltz, and Logan Crouse also scored, while Karel Vejmelka made 38 saves as Utah claimed its fourth victory in five outings.
Dylan Larkin and Jonatan Berggren each scored in the first for the Red Wings, who have dropped four in a row. Alex Lyon finished with 15 saves.
