Britt and Walker Swap Teams
Linebackers K.J. Britt and Anthony Walker are trading places.
ESPN reported Thursday that the Buccaneers have agreed to a one-year deal with Walker, previously of the Dolphins. Meanwhile, Britt, a fifth-round selection by Tampa Bay in the 2021 NFL Draft, heads to Miami, also on a one-year contract.
Walker, originally a fifth-round pick by the Colts in 2017, is joining his fourth NFL team after stints with the Colts, Browns, and Dolphins. In his single season with Miami in 2024, he played in 14 games, starting eight, and recorded 68 tackles, one sack, one interception, and two pass break-ups.
Britt appeared in 59 games with 15 starts over four seasons in Tampa Bay. He enjoyed his strongest performance in the 2024 season, making a career-high 72 tackles in 11 starts.

Eagles Add Linebacker Josh Uche
The Philadelphia Eagles have signed linebacker Josh Uche to a one-year contract after losing Josh Sweat in free agency.
Uche, selected by the New England Patriots in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, has played in 64 career games, including four starts. Last season, after being traded to Kansas City in October, he appeared in six games.
Over his career, Uche has accumulated 86 tackles, including 19 tackles for loss, 20.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

Titans Sign Veteran Punter Johnny Hekker
The Tennessee Titans have signed four-time All-Pro punter Johnny Hekker.
Hekker spent 10 seasons with the Los Angeles Rams and three seasons with the Carolina Panthers. He earned recognition on the NFL’s All-Decade Team for the 2010s.
Last year with Carolina, Hekker punted 73 times, averaging 45.7 yards per punt and achieving a net average of 41.5 yards.
