Denver Jones added 13 points for the top-seeded Tigers (28-4), who advance to face No. 8 Tennessee in Saturday’s semifinal. Tennessee, the fourth seed, defeated Texas later on Friday.
Dre Davis and Sean Pedulla led eighth-seeded Ole Miss (22-11) with 12 points each, while Jaylen Murray and Malik Dia added 10 apiece.
Auburn extended its lead to nine with 1:34 remaining, but a late surge by Ole Miss, including a 6-0 run, cut the deficit to three. Broome’s jumper with 11 seconds left secured the Tigers’ victory.

Andrew Carr led Kentucky (22-11) with 18 points, while Amari Williams added 16 and Travis Perry had 11. The Wildcats played without Lamont Butler, who sat out with a shoulder injury.
