Alexandrova Shocks No. 6 Andreeva, Gauff, Pegula Cruise in Stuttgart
Ekaterina Alexandrova stunned sixth seed Mirra Andreeva 6-3, 6-2 to book her place in the quarterfinals of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. The 30-year-old Russian needed just 65 minutes to secure her fourth Top 10 win of the season, hammering 19 winners and eight aces. Andreeva, just 17, committed 24 unforced errors and struggled with her first serve, landing just 48 percent.
Fourth-seeded Coco Gauff easily advanced with a dominant 6-1, 6-1 win over German wild card Ella Seidel in under an hour. Top-seeded Aryna Sabalenka also reached the last eight by walkover after Anastasia Potapova withdrew due to injury.

Lamens Upsets Noskova as Svitolina, Danilovic Advance in Rouen
Suzan Lamens of the Netherlands delivered the biggest surprise of the day at the Open Capfinances Rouen Métropole, ousting second seed Linda Noskova 6-4, 6-1 to reach the quarterfinals.
