At SportsHub, we pride ourselves on changing an industry that needed a boost. While the pay per head industry has taken off and taken sportsbooks to a new level, the handicapping industry has stagnated. Our team of industry professionals recognized a void in technology related to sports handicapping. We are now filling that void.

SportsHub is a small team of sports betting professionals with over 100 combined years of experience. SportsHub for Handicappers

We started by talking with professional handicappers and finding out what was lacking in the industry. That was the easy part. Here’s what we found.

These were the top issues, so we put a plan in place to fix them. Now, our handicappers are able to put all sorts of picks in the system. Straight bets, 1st half, props, and even daily parlay picks are all easily entered into the SportsHub system. 

Bettors who sign up can receive notifications when picks have been added. SportsHub also allows virtually anyone to become a handicapper. For a small fee, a capper is able to put picks in the Sports Hub system. All picks will be graded and handicappers are then put on our various leaderboards. Everything is transparent. There is no hiding at SportsHub.

Yesterday’s SportsHub Leaderboard

It was another strong day for SportsHub handicappers. Once again, the majority of the top-50 – 41 to be exact – won at least $100 yesterday. Dan Jones, the former finance expert, led the pack with a perfect 4-0 day. Dan is now Sports Hub’s No. 10-ranked soccer handicapper and works his numbers in the sports betting world instead of the financial arena.

There were a handful of other familiar SportsHub cappers among yesterday’s top-10, all earning at least $170 in winnings. Things are only going to get better as we head into what I like to call the pre-weekend. It’s the weekend before the weekend, an appetizer if you will. There will be plenty of the schedule today and our cappers are already putting picks into the system.

Here’s how yesterday played out.

• Dan the Man: As stated, Dan Jones was yesterday’s top dog hitting four MLB picks to earn $405. 
• It only takes one: Geovanny Aryana is one of our leading soccer experts here at SportsHub. Yesterday, he only put one soccer pick into the system, but that was all he needed. Geovanny picked Manchester City and Sevilla FC to play to a draw. The result won him $350.
• Beach life: Mike Kelly has been living his best life down here in Costa Rica. He’s been hammering the books like he did yesterday with a perfect 3-0 card on all MLB picks. His $300 in winnings puts him up $1182 over the last 30 days. Mike hasn’t missed a pick since Aug. 11 and he’s 7-3 in his last 10 picks.
• More Sports Hub experts: Ben Miller (3-1, $207) and Logan Wilson (2-0, $205) both had solid days. Diego Garcia also got in on the action with a 2-0 day and $200 in winnings. 
• Pro Picks: Also in the top-10 were two Pro Picks guys. Mike went 2-0 hitting both of his baseball picks to win $248. Ben also went 2-0 on two MLB picks and took home $200.

Trends to Watch

• The Dodgers: Clayton Kershaw shut down the Brewers last night in a 7-1 win and the Los Angeles Dodgers picked up their 10th win in a row. It was the Dodgers 14th win in its last 15 games. They lead the NL West with a 10-game lead over San Francisco.
• JT out again: Colts RB Jonathan Taylor has left training camp again. He had left last week to get treatment for an injured ankle. Taylor has been in a contract battle with the Colts since before training camp. The Colts excuse Taylor for what has been called a personal matter. There is no indication as to when he will return.
• Messi: It’s no secret that Messi scored in his sixth straight game for Inter Miami CF to put his team in the Leagues Cup final. He’s trending now on Twitter. His team plays in the final on Saturday against Nashville SC.

• NBA in-season tournament: This new addition to the schedule has been generating some buzz in the sports world. Most fans are still trying to process it. SportsHub has written a great article about how to bet the in-season NBA tournament.

Loaded Sports Schedule Today

It’s that time of the week again! Every Thursday, we get a step closer to the weekend and that means that the daily sports schedule starts to heat up. Instead of just a small smattering of sports, we have a full docket of action. 

We have the usual MLB – there’s only six games, but that’s okay – and the rest of the schedule … well, it doesn’t get much better than this. Okay, it does, but our Sports Hub handicappers fight through the early week just to get to Thursday. 

Let’s check out all the sports action going on today.

1. TGIT: Thank God it’s Thursday. In mid-August, that means preseason NFL football. It’s not the real thing, but we’ll take it. Tonight, it’s Cleveland and Philadelphia. We won’t see Deshaun Watson or Jalen Hurts, but it’s still football. That means SportsHub handicappers will have NFL picks available. It also means you can start preparing for the upcoming regular season.

2. Slow day: It’s a slow day for baseball with just six games on the MLB schedule. Some quality pitchers take the hill today. Chris Sale gets his second start since returning from an injury as the Red Sox face the Nationals. NL Cy Young favorite Zac Gallen pitches for Arizona against San Diego and 2021 NL Cy Young winner Corbin Burnes takes on the Dodgers. 
3. Tons of soccer: UEFA Europa League Qualifying and UEFA Europa Conference League Qualifying both have multiple games on the schedule. The NCAA women’s soccer season begins and there are dozens of games on the schedule. Bettors will find soccer picks in the SportsHub member’s area.
4. Rematch: The New York Liberty just got done smacking around the WNBA’s top team, Las Vegas, on Tuesday. The Liberty took the Commissioner’s Cup with the victory. Now, the two meet again tonight in Las Vegas. The Liberty have won the two games against the Aces…by at least 19 points. It is the only game on the WNBA schedule.
5. Golf: The BMW Championship starts at Olympia Fields Country Club in Olympia Fields, Illinois. Rory McIlroy (+650) is the betting favorite with Scottie Sheffler (+700) right on his tail. The women’s ISPS Handa World Invitational begins in Northern Ireland. Leona Maguire is the favorite to win.
6. CFL: Week 11 in the CFL kicks off tonight with Edmonton traveling to Hamilton. The Elks (0-9) remain winless. Hamilton (3-5) has just one win in four tries at home this season. They’ll try to change that tonight. There are CFL picks in our system here at Sports Hub already.
7. LLWS: The Little League World Series continues. In international play yesterday, Japan beat Cuba 1-0. In the U.S. bracket, Media (PA) Little League, representing the Mid-Atlantic region, lost 2-1 to Needville (TX) LL, which represents the Southwest. There are four games today.
8. Western & Southern Open: Men’s tennis continues in Cincinnati. Top seed Carlos Alcaraz faces No. 14 Tommy Paul at 2:30 p.m. ET. There are a number of matches throughout the day.
