Firstly, I will get things started with a recap of some of the action thus far before getting into my Bundesliga Matchday 3 picks. Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Recap 

Premier League 

Manchester City are the only team to have taken maximum points from their opening three matches. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to score over 2.5 goals away to Sheffield United last weekend, meaning my pick didn’t come in. 

The likes of Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Brentford, Arsenal and West Ham United have all made strong starts and remain undefeated. However, Sheffield United, Burnley, Luton Town, and Everton are yet to find their first points. 

Ligue 1

There are no teams left that have managed to maintain a 100% record in the French top flight through Matchday 3 but Monaco and Marseille lead the way with seven points each. The likes of Rennes, Lorient and Paris Saint-Germain remain unbeaten. 

Champions PSG found their first victory of the season last time out as they look to kick-start their campaign. Clermont is the only team yet to register a point, whilst Nice, Lyon, Le Havre, Lens, and Nantes are winless. 

La Liga 

It has been an excellent start to the season for Real Madrid as they made it three wins from three last Friday. They have conceded just one goal in the process as well. Girona also continued their impressive start and are yet to lose, alongside Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. 

Bundesliga 

My only Bundesliga pick hit last week as RB Leipzig took Stuttgart apart in a 5-1 triumph on their own turf. I selected the hosts to score over 2.5 goals at odds of +147. That was their first win of the season too.

Serie A 

I also had a winner in Italy as one of my Serie A Matchday 2 picks hit last week as Milan defeated Torino 4-1. I selected Milan -1 and so that resulted in a good profit at odds of +117. The Rossoneri are one of four teams in Serie A to have won both of their games so far. They are joined by Inter, Napoli, and Hellas Verona to take full points. 

It has been a woeful beginning for Lazio who are without a single point through two matches. The likes of Empoli and Sassuolo have also lost their first two games of the season. 

Unfortunately, my Atalanta and Juventus picks didn’t work out. The former suffered a surprise defeat away to Frosinone, whilst the latter drew 1-1 at home to Bologna.

Our brief recap of the action from the Euro soccer top leagues is now complete. Now, it’s time to get into our picks, including Bundesliga Matchday 3 picks. 

Once again, we have top action from all of the top 5 leagues in Europe. The next round of fixtures begins Friday with all of the leagues playing out games.

Bundesliga Matchday 3 Picks – Union Berlin vs RB Leipzig Prediction 

We should be set for a highly entertaining affair in the Bundesliga on Sunday as RB Leipzig make the trip to face current league leaders Union Berlin. The selection below looks to be great value for our Bundesliga Matchday 3 picks. Here are the current odds for the match:

• Draw (+225)
• RB Leipzig (+123)

As the moneyline odds suggest, this game will be a hard one to call. The hosts have won both of their opening two matches, whilst the visitors dropped points in their opener before dismantling Stuttgart 5-1. 

Die Eisernen have seen a total of five goals in both of their two matches this season, whilst Die Roten Bullen saw five goals go in in their opener and six in their last match. The last six meetings between Union Berlin and RB Leipzig have all ended in a scoreline of 2-1. 

Union Berlin has scored the most goals in the division thus far, whilst both sides have 100% records in both teams to score and over 2.5 goals markets. With it close to being even money for over 2.5 goals in the match, it looks to be a good bet to place this week.

Bundesliga Matchday 3 Picks – Borussia Mönchengladbach vs Bayern Munich Prediction

Our Bundesliga Matchday 3 picks resume with a match-up between Borussia Mönchengladbach and Bayern Munich that is set to take place on Saturday. Below you can find the current odds for the match: 

• Borussia Mönchengladbach (+580)
• Draw (+480)
• Bayern Munich (-323)

It has been a poor start to the season for Gladbach who are yet to record a win from their first two games. They have leaked plenty of goals, however, conceding seven in total (the tied most in the division). They drew their opener 4-4 away to Augsburg before losing 3-0 at home to Bayer Leverkusen. 

As for visitors Bayern, they have taken full points through Matchday 2. They began the campaign with a 4-0 triumph away to Werder Bremen and then defeated Augsburg 3-1 on their own turf last weekend. 

The visitors are incredibly heavy favorites and for good reason. Gladbach have been poor to start the season and the affluent Bayern offense is set to prosper. That doesn’t leave great value on the moneyline but sign in to Sports Hub to find out my pick.

Bundesliga Matchday 3 Picks – Bayer Leverkusen vs Darmstadt Prediction

The final selection of our Bundesliga Matchday 3 picks features Bayer Leverkusen vs Darmstadt as they go head-to-head at BayArena on Saturday. Here are the current moneyline odds for the match: 

• Bayer Leverkusen (-500)
• Draw (+540)
• Darmstadt (+1000)

Leverkusen hit three past RB Leipzig in their first match en route to wrapping up a 3-2 victory before defeating Mönchengladbach 3-0 last Saturday on the road. Xabi Alonso’s men have certainly shown they have an eye for goal this term. 

Newly-promoted Darmstadt have failed to register a single point thus far, losing 1-0 away to Frankfurt before suffering a 4-1 defeat at home to Union Berlin. Despite leveling the scores and their opponents being reduced to ten men, Darmstadt fell apart against Union and went on to concede a further three goals. 

Once again, the money line doesn’t look worthwhile to bet on since Leverkusen looks incredibly likely to win the match. Nevertheless, I have identified a solid selection from an alternative market.

Alternative Euro Soccer Top League Picks 

The research has shown that Bundesliga Matchday 3 picks should be profitable this week. Hopefully, my picks come in and we can continue making plenty of money! 

However, with fixtures across the top 5 leagues on show, I will also be providing picks from other leagues as well. I have identified what should be some good value selections from both the Premier League and Ligue 1.

Premier League Matchday 4 Picks – Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest Prediction 

Looking to find some consistency after earning their first three points of the campaign at home to Luton Town last time out, Chelsea welcome Nottingham Forest to Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Check out the current odds for the game below:

The Blues finally picked up their first win of the season last time out, bouncing back after suffering a 3-1 defeat away to West Ham on Matchday 2. Chelsea drew 1-1 at home to Liverpool in their opener. 

Despite going two goals ahead at Old Trafford against Manchester United last time out, Forest couldn’t hold onto their lead as they lost 3-2. However, they did find the victory in their match prior as they beat Sheffield United 2-1.

Ligue 1 Matchday 4 Picks – Toulouse vs. Clermont Prediction

The final pick of this week comes from Ligue 1 as Toulouse play host to basement-dwellers Clermont on Sunday. Below you can find the current odds for the match:

It has been a mixed start for the hosts who have won one of their three matches. That was in a 2-1 victory away to Nantes before sharing the points in an impressive draw with PSG. However, they suffered a 2-0 loss away to Strasbourg last time out. 

It has been a poor opening for Clermont who have lost all of their games thus far. They have scored just two goals in the process, failing to hit the back of the net in their last two outings.
