The first NFL weekend of 2023 has been and gone and now it’s time for Sports Hub’s NFL Week 1 Report. It was a chaotic first week in the NFL and the drama unduly delivered. A bunch of our high-quality cappers performed well as the NFL made its return and were able to turn some nice profits.

How about Monday Night Football?! From the lows of Aaron Rodgers’ injury for the New York Jets, to the overtime walk-off victory secured by rookie Xavier Gipson. MNF was the epitome of the rollercoaster of emotions that the NFL can provide.

Sports Hub will continue to supply you with everything you need throughout the NFL season. From weekly reports, picks and predictions, we will be giving you everything you need to consistently make money. Let’s get into our NFL Week 1 Report.

NFL Week 1 Report – Expert Cappers Continue To Turn Profits

A host of our expert cappers have been analyzing games throughout the week and turning profits straight from the off. Make sure that you continue to check Sports Hub for content throughout the coming weeks for everything you need for the NFL. We are giving you content for all three days of football from the NFL.

If you want the research and reasoning behind our picks, then Sports Hub will supply that for you. However, if you just want to get straight into the picks then make sure you continue to search the members area for our top handicappers. Our NFL Week 1 report will now take a look at some of the top cappers from the week.

NFL Week 1 is Over – Our Top Cappers

We already mentioned the pure theater from MNF. Our cappers saw success too and a total of 15 of our experts made a profit just on Monday’s game alone. Sas Insider, SWJ Sports and Bill Blatt all went two for two, netting $200 each.

Let’s take a look at some of our top cappers from Sunday:

  • Evan Lewis smashed it on Sunday and led the way out of our NFL handicappers. All three of his NFL picks landed for the first NFL Sunday of the season. That meant he was up $300 on Sunday. And that was just wagering on the NFL! What a start to the new season.
  • Gino Russo went two for two and was up $205. He’s won four out of five of his NFL picks over the last week and is up a total of $296.
  • Mike Kelly put in the most picks on Sunday in the NFL with nine and won five of those at a steady rate. He was up $60 which was still good but I am sure he wants to see that number increase next week.

We like transparency at Sports Hub. Of course, not all of our cappers were successful on MNF. Our NFL Week 1 report will also take a look at some of the cappers who didn’t have the best of Monday’s. Sal Lombardi failed to hit his only pick, losing $135. Our highest rated capper over the last 30 days, Ben Miller, also didn’t land his pick. He lost $127. It just goes to show even the best can’t win them all.

NFL Week 1 Report – What’s Trending?

Well, what a crazy Week 1 in the NFL. It never fails to deliver. Our NFL Week 1 report will now take a look at the best highlights and what’s trending. We saw some outrageous plays by the likes of Zay Jones, Christian McCaffrey and rookie Bijan Robinson. There were also some crazy individual performances by the likes of Tyreek Hill, Calvin Ridley and Aaron Jones.

Here are some of the biggest highlights from our NFL Week 1 Report:

  • McCaffrey made a 65-yard touchdown run as the San Francisco 49ers made lightwork of Mike Tomlin’s Steelers. Brock Purdy impressed too under center, leading four successive scoring drives to establish an early lead. His connection with Brandon Aiyuk was impressive.
  • Tua Tagovailoa and Hill combined to have career days in LA as they narrowly edged past the Chargers to win 36-34. That was a shootout for the ages. Tua threw for 466 yards, three touchdowns and one interception. Hill racked up an insane 215 receiving yards off of 11 receptions and scored two touchdowns.
  • Sunday Night Football was a blowout as the Dallas Cowboys showed up on Week 1 to defeat the New York Giants 40-0. That was their largest shutout triumph in their history. The defense was incredible and didn’t let Daniel Jones and the Giants offense get going from the start.
  • A Rod Injury: It’s not looking good for Rodgers who is feared to have suffered a serious Achilles injury. He went out on the Jets’ opening drive and wasn’t able to return. It may even be the end of his career in the NFL but Robert Saleh’s guys rallied to pull off an extraordinary victory over current AFC East champs the Buffalo Bills.

Key Stats from NFL Sunday:

  • All rookie head coaches lost in their first games (5)
  • All three rookie quarterbacks lost in Week 1
  • All road teams during the late window won – Packers, Raiders, Dolphins, Eagles & Rams

What to look out for in our next NFL Report

That’s it for our NFL Week 1 report. What an opening week of football! We’ve had some crazy individual displays, blowout victories, comeback triumphs, crucial injuries and a host of surprises. The NFL never fails to disappoint.

Here’s some things you need to look out for in our NFL Week 2 Report:

  • Thursday Night Football opens up Week 2 with last season’s NFC champions the Philadelphia Eagles returning to Lincoln Financial Field as they welcome the reigning NFC North champs the Minnesota Vikings.
  • NFL Sunday will host a behemoth AFC North clash between the Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens. Joe Burrow and the rest of the Bengals offense will need a huge improvement after their failure against the Browns in Week 1.
  • SNF puts Bill Bellichick’s New England Patriots in the spotlight once more as they look for their first win of the season against the Dolphins. Tua and Cheetah are already looking dangerous.
  • MNF will see off Week 2 with another divisional match-up as the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Cleveland Browns.

Unfortunately, we have now come to the end of our NFL Week 1 report. Sports Hub will continue to provide its users with content and picks throughout the week to get you ready for Week 2. We’re only a couple of days away from TNF!

The NFL is the top priority for most of our cappers and we all absolutely love football season. Be sure to continue reading our weekly NFL reports to find our most successful cappers.

We’ve got plenty of sports action to wager on across the board, though, so make sure to continue to check out our other picks and content as well. However, you need to be prepared for the non-stop football over the next few months. The NFL is back and we are all absolutely thrilled!
