Sports Hub’s NFL Week 2 Report is here! Our cappers were busy with not just one but two games for Monday Night Football this week. We’re now getting into the swing of football season as the NFL is now down two whole weeks already.
Nick Chubb’s gruesome injury overshadowed MNF and it’s looking likely that the star running back is out for the season. That’s now back-to-back Monday’s where star players have picked up serious injuries. Joe Burrow will need to watch out, if he’s available next Monday.
Let’s not forget Sunday’s action where we saw plenty of come-from-behind victories. The Cowboys look like a top contender, beating the Jets and going 2-0. We had a shootout in Detroit as the Seahawks got their first win of the season. The likes of the Chargers and the Bengals have gone 2-0 after poor starts, whilst Puka Nacua looks like a star for the Rams.
So, it’s time to get into our NFL Week 2 Report. Let’s take a look at some of our top cappers, what’s trending and a sneak peak at what’s in store for Week 3.

Top Cappers From Monday
We had a surfeit of picks go in just on Monday’s games alone and our cappers were extremely successful. Over 70% of our experts made a profit on Monday, with just ten cappers losing out. MF Picks topped the leaderboard by winning three out of his four picks, whilst Mario Deluca and Seth Cohen went two for two to net $200 each.
Our top cappers over the last seven days:
- SWJ Sports is crushing the NFL picks at the moment and has won six out of his eight picks over the past seven days. That’s seen him profit $370.
- Gino Russo has only made three picks but has landed every one, netting him $300. He’s performed well when betting on totals in particular.
- The Bookie and Sal Lombardi have also been profitable, winning 80% of their five picks over the past week. They have both netted $290 just on the NFL.
Of course, our NFL Week 2 Report will also take a look at some of our cappers who didn’t perform so well. It wasn’t the best of Monday’s for TonyK 3G-Sports who lost $133, losing both of his picks. He’ll be looking to bounce back next week. Scott’s Picks hasn’t had the best of luck either, losing six of his eight NFL picks over the last seven days. However, he smashed his MLB picks on Monday so I’m sure he’ll bounce back in the NFL soon.
NFL Week 2 Report – Trending News
The recap of our top cappers is in so now you know who you should be following when it comes to making picks in the NFL. It’s the part of our NFL Week 2 Report now where we take a look at some of the top highlights from Week 2 NFL action.
We saw a host of comeback victories on Sunday, overtime triumphs, a record-breaking performance by a rookie wideout and much, much more! The NFL never stops delivering the adrenaline rush of excitement that us sports junkies crave.
Let’s take a look at the best highlights from our NFL Week 2 Report:
- Puka Nacua is breaking records in his rookie season with the Rams. The fifth-round pick made 15 catches on Sunday alone which were the most in a game by a rookie. His total of 25 receptions over the first two weeks is also the most by any rookie in the history of the NFL. He looks to be a stud.
- The Denver Broncos blew a 21-3 lead but threw a hail mary TD. Sean Payton’s Broncos are 0-2 to start the season and, despite leading by 18 points against the Commanders, they ended up losing 35-33. However, we still saw a crazy play as Russell Wilson threw a 50-yard hail mary for Brandon Johnson. That gave Denver some hope of taking the game to overtime but they couldn’t complete the two-point conversion.
- Seattle Seahawks seal walk off overtime win. The battle between the Hawks and the Lions didn’t fail to deliver as we saw yet another high-scoring game. Geno Smith was able to lead a 75-yard drive in overtime that would secure a 37-31 win for Seattle. That was also their first victory of the season.
- Nick Chubb injury: MNF takes another victim this week as Chubb looks set to be out for the season after suffering a serious knee injury. The footage of the injury was pretty revolting as safety Minkah Fitzpatrick made the tackle. It’s a huge blow for the Browns who have lost their star running back. The Steelers ended up winning their first game of the season as they defeated Cleveland 26-22 thanks to a fourth quarter defensive touchdown by T.J. Watt.

- Thursday Night Football: We get things started in Week 3 with the Giants @ the 49ers. Brian Daboll’s side finally showed some offense on Sunday as they came from behind to beat the Arizona Cardinals 31-28. However, the 9ers are gonna be tough to beat and have gone 2-0 to start the campaign.
- NFL Sunday: An interesting AFC East match-up takes place at MetLife Stadium on Sunday as the Jets host the Patriots. The Jets are looking to get back to winning ways after their loss to the Cowboys, whilst Bill Bellichick is still looking for his first win of the season.
- SNF: Mike Tomlin’s Steelers are on prime-time once again as they take on the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium. Both teams have started the season 1-1 so they will be battling to go +.500 early on.
- Another Doubleheader on Monday: Monday saw two games take place as the Saints beat the Panthers 20-17 before the Steelers beat the Browns 26-22. Week 3 will see another doubleheader as the Eagles take on the Buccaneers before the Bengals search for their first win of the season against the Rams.
