We’ve done the homework and identified the best NFL DFS Week 3 plays. Injuries are beginning to pile up and there are numerous mispriced players to target in daily fantasy football this Sunday.

In Week 2, we were all over the top of the leaderboard. Our six recommended studs all finished in the top five in scoring at their position except for one (WR Stefon Diggs). The value plays weren’t as successful, but we hit on the C.J. Stroud / Nico Collins stack. We went 1/2 on bargain bin sleeper plays as well, as WR Josh Reynolds finished with 23.6 FPs on DK (WR9) and 21.1 FPs on FD (WR7).

Let’s jump into our best NFL DFS Week 3 plays and see if we can keep crushing it:

Best Stacks for NFL DFS Week 3

Here are my top two NFL DFS Week 3 stacks for the main slate:

  • Kirk Cousins ($6.9K on DK / $7.8K on FD) / Justin Jefferson ($9.3K on DK / $9.7K on FD)

Cousins exploded for 32.56 FPs (DK) and 28.56 FPs (FD) in Week 2. He went 31/44 for 364 yards and 4 TDs. Jefferson had 11 receptions for 159 yards, but he still hasn’t scored a touchdown. Jefferson has had 150+ receiving yards in both games this season and this is an excellent matchup for these two.

The Chargers vs. Vikings game has the highest game total. LAC are allowing 333.0 PYPG (32nd). I’m not a fan of stacks with three players, but this week you have to consider T.J. Hockenson ($6.5K on DK and $7.5K on FD) who hauled in seven receptions for 66 yards and  two TDs last week.

A Cousins / Jefferson / Hockenson stack is expensive, but all three could have ceiling performances.

  • C.J. Stroud ($5.3K on DK / $6.6K on FD) / Nico Collins ($5.3K on DK / $6.9K on FD)

Collins has seen his price increase a bit more on FD, but he’s still offering great value. Collins hauled in seven receptions for 146 yards and 1 TD in Week 2 (30.6 FPs on DK / 24.1 FPs on FD). Stroud scored 25.46 FPs (DK) and 21.46 FPs (FD) last week. He has thrown the football 91 times in two games.

This matchup against the Jaguars could turn into a shootout. The Jags are allowing 256.5 PYPG (25th) and 1.5 passing TDs per game (T15). Collins is averaging 10 targets per game (T6).

Best Studs for NFL DFS Week 3

Here are the best studs for NFL DFS Week 3 at QB, RB, WR, TE and DST:

  • QB: Tua Tagovailoa ($7K on DK / $8.1K on FD)

Tagovailoa struggled against the Patriots in Week 2, but he gets the Broncos at home this week. Denver are allowing 233.0 PYPG (21st) and 2.0 passing TDs per game (T25). Sam Howell just went 27/39 for 299 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs against this Broncos defense last week. Tua should exceed those numbers.

Potential Stack: Tyreek Hill ($9K on DK / $9.6K on FD)

  • RB: Travis Etienne Jr. ($6.9K on DK / $8K on FD)

Etienne Jr. left last week’s game with cramps and is listed as questionable, but he should play. This is an ideal matchup, as the Texans are allowing 118.0 RYPG (21st) and 3.0 rushing TDs per game (32nd). In two games against Houston last season, Etienne Jr. rushed for 179 yards and 1 TD.

  • WR: CeeDee Lamb ($7.7K on DK / $8.5K on FD)

Lamb hauled in 11 of 13 targets in Week 2 for 143 yards. He scored 28.3 FPs on DK and 19.8 FPs on FD. The Cowboys play the Cardinals this week who are allowing 234.0 PYPG (22nd) and 1.5 passing TDs per game (T15). Lamb has a 27.4% target share and won’t need a lot of touches to exceed value in Week 3.

  • TE: Mark Andrews ($6K on DK / $7.4K on FD)

Andrews played in Week 2 after missing the season-opener. Andrews had five receptions (eight targets) for 45 yards and 1 TD. He’s a big red zone target. The Colts are allowing 287.0 PYPG (29th) and 2.0 passing TDs per game (T25). Andrews led Baltimore in targets last week and that trend will continue.

  • DST: Dallas Cowboys ($4.4K on DK / $5.2K on FD)

The Dallas DST have scored 37.0 FPs (Week 1) and 15.0 FPs (Week 2). They have five interceptions, two fumble recoveries, ten sacks and two defensive touchdowns. The Cowboys play the Cardinals this week. Arizona have been better than advertised, but they haven’t played a defense like the Cowboys yet.

Best Value Plays for NFL DFS Week 3

Here are the best value plays for NFL DFS Week 3 at QB, RB, WR, TE and DST:

  • QB: Desmond Ridder ($5K on DK / $7K on FD)

Ridder was bad in Week 1, but he scored 22.38 FPs on DK/FD in Week 2. This week, Atlanta play Detroit on the road. The Lions are allowing 268.5 PYPG (26th) and 2.0 passing TDs per game (T25). Ridder is also a threat on the ground, as he had 39 yards and 1 TD on 10 carries in Week 2.

Potential Stack: Drake London ($5K on DK / $6.5K on FD)

  • RB: Kenneth Walker III ($6.2K on DK / $7.6K on FD)

Walker III is priced as the RB12 at DK on the main slate. He offers less value on FD. Walker III had 18.4 FPs (DK) and 17.9 FPs (FD) in Week 2 against a Lions defense allowing 86.0 RYPG (T9). This week, the Seahawks host the Panthers who are allowing 132.0 RYPG (25th) and 2.0 rushing TDs per game (T28).

  • WR: DJ Moore ($5.7K on DK / $6.4K on FD)

Moore was only targeted twice in Week 1, but he hauled in six of seven targets in Week 2 for 104 yards. He scored 19.4 FPs (DK) and 13.4 FPs (FD). The Chiefs are allowing 223.5 PYPG (19th), but they’ve only allowed one passing TD. With the Chiefs likely leading, the Bears will be forced to air it out.

  • TE: Hunter Henry ($4.1K on DK / $5.7K on FD)

Henry has scored 16.6 FPs on DK (14.1 FPs on FD) in Week 1 and 17.2 FPs on DK (14.2 FPs on FD) in Week 2. He’s averaging 6.5 targets per game (T3 at TE). The Jets are allowing 232.5 PYPG (20th). They have allowed 11 receptions for 63 yards and 2 TDs against TEs to begin the season.

  • DST: Washington Commanders ($2.4K on DK / $4K on FD)

The Commanders DST have scored 11.0 FPs (Week 1) and 10.0 FPs (Week 2). They have three fumble recoveries and ten sacks. The Bills offense was great in Week 2 at home, but in Week 1 on the road, the Bills turned the football over four times. Washington are also a tough team to play at home.

Best Bargain Bin Sleepers for NFL DFS Week 3

Here are my top bargain big sleepers for NFL DFS Week 3 at RB and WR:

  • RB Tony Jones Jr. ($4.5K on DK / $4.5K on FD)

Alvin Kamara is serving the last game of his suspension. Jamaal Williams is questionable (hamstring) and Kendre Miller is questionable. Jones Jr. led the Saints backfield in Week 2. He had 12 carries for 34 yards and 2 TDs. If Jones Jr. gets 10+ carries, he’ll exceed value against GB who allow 166.5 RYPG (30th).

  • WR: Adam Thielen ($3.9K on DK / $5.7K on FD)

Thielen was only targeted twice in Week 1, but Bryce Young targeted him more in Week 2. Thielen hauled in seven of nine targets for 54 yards and 1 TD. He’s a volume receiver that won’t break off many chunk plays, but he’s the Panthers #1 WR. The Seahawks are allowing 325.0 PYPG (30th).
