Sharps will be selecting La Liga overs over the coming weeks. Another week of European soccer has been and gone so I’m ready to get into my European soccer weekly review as I analyze the latest betting trends and statistics following the weekend’s results.

We have midweek soccer from Europe’s top five leagues this week so make sure you keep up to date with that so you’re fully informed. There are no games on Monday so we can get a full picture of what’s been happening in the latest round of games.

Brest continue to be the surprise package atop the Ligue 1 standings, whilst Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen look strong in the Bundesliga. Simone Inzaghi was able to equal records with his Inter team on Sunday, whilst Real Madrid were finally defeated in La Liga.

Below you can find my European soccer weekly review, starting with the results and key statistics. Selecting La Liga overs looks to be a good play.

European Soccer Weekly Review – La Liga Overs

The results and key statistics have now been summarized from Europe’s top five leagues so we need to find out what this means for bettors and highlight the important betting trends.

Below you will see four separate tables that have compiled all of the data from the key stats over the past four weeks of European soccer. La Liga overs have been consistent over the past few weeks.

I will be using this to try and find a more accurate way of analyzing the stats. Every week we are bound to see anomalies that may skew the data. However, by analyzing a larger data set, we can get a more accurate picture of what’s been going on.

Euro Soccer Betting Trends – What the stats say so far

Now that we have four weeks worth of data from the key statistics each week, I am able to work out which leagues are proportionately hitting the higher percentages in terms of both teams to score, over 2.5 goals, home wins, draws and away wins. As you can see, La Liga overs have been hitting on a regular basis of late.

The Bundesliga has clearly been the leading league for goals so far. That has been one of the common themes across each European weekly soccer review. Despite taking a hit over the weekend with just 55.56% of games seeing over 2.5 goals, that was still the highest percentage out of the rest of the top leagues.

However, La Liga appears to be another league to target in terms of goals. At least 50% of games have seen over 2.5 goals every week and even 70% of matches saw both teams score during the last set of games. Going forward, sharps will be selecting La Liga overs.

La Liga Home Wins

Home wins have been most common in La Liga too. Although home advantage is a typical opinion of the public, the stats are clearly saying that Spain is where to head. A great example of that working came over the weekend as Atletico Madrid got the better of an unbeaten Real Madrid at the time. That match also hit for La Liga overs as well.

La Liga have seen a low proportion of their games end in draws and away wins as a result so home advantage seems to be working well in Spain. As expected, home wins are the most common outcome across all of the top leagues after the first few weeks.

If you want to fade the public, though, and perhaps try and find longer odds value, look to Ligue 1 or the Bundesliga. Ligue 1 has seen low numbers for home wins, bar from the latest results, whilst the Bundesliga is the most common for away wins thus far.

European Soccer Weekly Review – Look to La Liga Overs

The bookmakers are starting to identify the key trends and statistics and are adjusting their prices to make it a lot harder for bettors.

However, Sports Hub’s weekly reviews should help try and identify the most profitable markets so we can all continue to turn profits each week. La Liga overs looks set to be a good strategy, based off of recent data.

Of course, Bundelsiga goals should still be an option but make sure you are finding the best selections each week. Our weekly pick articles will be out later this week so stay tuned for the latest betting tips Sports Hub has to offer.
