Sports Hub’s Premier League Matchweek 11 review is here! We had to wait until Tuesday due to Tottenham’s clash with Chelsea, but it was certainly worth the wait.

Monday’s London derby dished up five goals, four disallowed goals, two red cards, a hat-trick and a penalty, making it one of the most eventful clashes in recent Premier League history.

However, the showdown between Spurs and Chelsea is not the only major talking point. With a total of 10 games to analyze, let’s dive into our Premier League Matchweek 11 review.

Matchweek 11 Premier League Results

What better way to kick off our Premier League Matchweek 11 review than by assessing the weekend’s results? MW11 produced an abundance of standout results, but it arguably saved the best for last.

  • Fulham 0-1 Manchester United
  • Brentford 3-2 West Ham United
  • Manchester City 6-1 Bournemouth
  • Sheffield United 2-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers
  • Burnley 0-2 Crystal Palace
  • Everton 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
  • Newcastle United 1-0 Arsenal
  • Nottingham Forest 2-0 Aston Villa
  • Luton Town 1-1 Liverpool
  • Tottenham Hotspur 1-4 Chelsea

The MW11 action started with Bruno Fernandes scoring a 91st-minute winner for Manchester United against Fulham. Later that day, Brentford and West Ham shared five goals, while Manchester City put six past Bournemouth.

Elsewhere, Sheffield United finally picked up their first Premier League victory of the season against Wolves. Crystal Palace heaped more misery on Burnley, while Newcastle ended Arsenal’s unbeaten start to the season.

On Sunday, Nottingham Forest secured a shock 2-0 win against Aston Villa. Luton almost claimed all three points against Liverpool, only for Luis Diaz to cancel out Tahith Chong’s 80th-minute opener.

That said, the standout clash of the round took place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Spurs took the lead after just six minutes, but red cards for Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie saw Chelsea take control, with Nicolas Jackson bagging a hat-trick.

This section of our Premier League Matchweek 11 review takes an in-depth look at all the latest betting trends from the EPL. Since all 20 teams have played 11 games, there are now tons of stats that bettors can utilize to support their wagers.

There are lots of different trends to consider, such as winning streaks, losing runs, BTTS and over/under 2.5 goals. We also look at the top-performing players in the league, meaning we cover goals, assists, clean sheets and other metrics.

If you’re serious about taking your EPL betting to the next level, the information in this section of our Premier League Matchweek 11 review can help. It’s time to dive into all the top betting trends after MW11.

Basic EPL Betting Trends After MW11

Following defeats for Tottenham and Arsenal, every Premier League team has now recorded at least one loss this season. At the opposite end of the table, Sheffield United finally tasted victory for the first time since gaining promotion.

  • There are no unbeaten teams remaining in the Premier League this season
  • Tottenham and Arsenal both tasted defeat for the first time during MW11
  • Liverpool has also recorded a solitary loss in 11 matches this term
  • Sheffield United finally picked up their first win of the campaign during MW11
  • The Blades join Burnley, Bournemouth and Luton on one victory for the season
  • Nottingham Forest ended a six-game winless run with victory over Aston Villa
  • West Ham suffered a third successive league defeat last time out
  • Newcastle is enjoying a seven-game unbeaten streak in the Premier League

Man City has risen to the summit of the standings thanks to Saturday’s mauling of Bournemouth. Following negative results for Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs, the top four teams are now separated by just three points.

On the flip side, the bottom four teams find themselves cut adrift from the rest of the pack. Sheff Utd, Burnley, Bournemouth and Luton are separated by two points, but there is a five-point gap between them and Everton.

EPL Goal Trends for Bettors

Believe it or not, Tottenham and Chelsea’s five-goal thriller was not the only clash of that nature during MW11. Man City crushed the Cherries 6-1 at the Etihad, while Brentford came from 2-1 down to inflict a third successive defeat on West Ham.

  • Three of the 10 clashes during GW11 produced over 4.5 goals
  • Eight matches served up over 1.5 goals last weekend
  • Both teams scored in six of the 10 GW11 encounters
  • Man City (28) is now the highest-scoring team in the EPL
  • Newcastle (27) and Aston Villa (26) are also high-scoring sides
  • Man City (8) and Arsenal (9) possess the best defensive records
  • Burnley (8) is the lowest-scoring team in the Premier League this season
  • Sheff Utd (9), Bournemouth (9) and Fulham (9) are also struggling offensively
  • Sheff Utd (30) possess the worst defensive record in the division
  • Brighton is the only EPL team with a 100% BTTS ratio in 2023-24

Not only are Pep Guardiola’s men the top team in the division, but they are also the top scorers. The defending champions find themselves above Newcastle and Villa in the scoring charts, with Burnley languishing at the bottom.

City also boasts the best defensive record, while Sheff Utd has conceded the most goals. Remarkably, Brighton still possesses a 100% BTTS ratio this season, as both teams have scored in all 11 of the Seagulls’ EPL clashes.
