Euro Soccer Top Leagues – La Liga Matchday 13 Picks

We head back to Spain this week for La Liga Matchday 13 picks! European soccer continues to hit our screens and I’m back with my Euro soccer picks from the top leagues. 

I made six picks in last week’s article and went 4-2 so that is now successive weeks where my Euro soccer selections have resulted in healthy profits. I went 4-1 the week prior. 

Having failed to find any suitable matchups from the Spanish top-flight in recent weeks, I have found a couple of nice selections this time in my La Liga Matchday 13 picks. Check them out below!

Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Recap 

Premier League 

English Premier League picks haven’t been featuring in my Euro soccer articles of late. We do provide specific English top-flight content here at Sports Hub, though, so be sure to take a look at that. 

There are now no winless teams left in the division after both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur lost during Gameweek 11. Meanwhile, Sheffield United finally won their first league game of the season. 

Ligue 1

After making two picks from the Nice vs Rennes game and one from the Lorient vs Lens match, I went 2-1 with my Ligue 1 selections last week. Both winners came in the Nice match as I selected under 2.5 goals and the hosts to win. The game ended in a 2-0 victory for Nice. 

However, Lorient vs Lens ended 0-0 and I had over 2.5 goals in that one. A real stinker. You can’t win them all. Let’s try and find some more winners from France this week. 

La Liga 

A disappointing result for Real Madrid during Round 11 saw them draw 0-0 at home to Rayo Vallecano. That allowed Girona to go top of the table as their incredible start to the campaign resumes. 

There weren’t any picks from La Liga last week as I didn’t like any of the matchups. However, they have made a return this time around. Take a look at my La Liga Matchday 13 picks below. 

Bundesliga

I went 1-1 with Bundesliga Matchday 10 picks in my last article. I had over 3.5 goals in the feature game in Der Klassiker between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. That selection came in as the visitors secured an emphatic 4-0 victory. 

Unfortunately, I lost on my totals selection for the Heidenheim vs Stuttgart match. I backed over 3 goals in that one but the home side ended up winning 2-0. 

Serie A 

Serie A can be a very useful league to look at when it comes to Euro soccer picks. My only Serie A pick landed last week as I selected under 2.5 goals in the Milan vs Udinese match. Udinese ran out surprise 1-0 winners at San Siro.

La Liga Matchday 13 Picks – Osasuna vs Las Palmas Prediction

First up for my La Liga Matchday 13 picks comes from Osasuna vs Las Palmas on Saturday. Below you can see the current money line prices for the game: 

• Osasuna (-106)
• Draw (+225)
• Las Palmas (+290)

Los Rojillos have failed to match last term’s success and they are currently struggling down in the bottom half. They head into the match here having lost back-to-back games and have just two wins over their last ten competitive outings. 

As for García Pimienta’s Las Palmas, they have overcome their shaky start to win all but one of their last six matches across all competitions. That includes an impressive 2-1 win at home to Atletico Madrid last time out. 

The odds for the away side to win look too good to turn down. Osasuna are not in good form, whilst Los Amarillos have certainly looked exciting in recent weeks. I’m backing them to get the victory in their visit to Pamplona. 

Best Bet: Las Palmas (+290)

La Liga Matchday 13 Picks – Barcelona vs Alaves Prediction 

La Liga champions Barcelona meet Alaves on Sunday as they go head-to-head at Estadio Olimpico. Check out the latest money line odds for the match here for the second one of my La Liga Matchday 13 picks: 

• Barcelona (-417)
• Draw (+480)
• Alaves (+900)

Xavi Hernandez will be hoping for a big response from his Barca side this weekend since they have lost two of their last three matches. They were left disappointed in El Clasico last month as well and currently trail league leaders Girona by four points. 

Alaves will be dreaming of producing a shock result in this one and enter the match on the back of successive victories. That includes a 1-0 win over Almeria last time out; their first in La Liga since early September.

Alternative Euro Soccer Top League Picks 

So, they were my La Liga Matchday 13 picks. Let’s hope that they both come in. With Las Palmas priced at +290 to win, we could be in for some tasty returns. 

Next, I have been searching the other top leagues for additional picks. I always analyze the matchups each week before making my picks. That way, I can recognize the most suitable games to bet on, coupled with the research and statistics. 

I have headed to Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga for my final three picks. They have been trusted leagues now for some time. Let’s find out what I have gone for!

Ligue 1 Matchday 11 Picks – Lille vs Toulouse Prediction 

Unbeaten across their last seven competitive matches, Lille welcome Carles Martinez Novell’s Toulouse to Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Sunday. Let’s take a look at the latest money line odds:

• Lille (-185)
• Draw (+310)
• Toulouse (+440)

The hosts have been very solid to start the season and currently sit just one point outside of the top-four. They haven’t suffered a defeat across any of their last five Ligue 1 matches and have the third best defensive record in the division. 

However, life has been difficult for Toulouse this term as they struggle to balance domestic and European football. Les Violets are just one point ahead of the bottom-three and have lost their last three consecutive matches across all competitions, prior to their Europa League matchup against Liverpool. 

Lille should be securing the win in this one. However, I am not too keen on their odds of -185 to win. However, I like an alternative market which has better value.

Bundesliga Matchday 11 Picks – Bayer Leverkusen vs Union Berlin Prediction 

Xabi Alonso has led Bayer Leverkusen to a phenomenal start this season and they have dropped points in just one of their opening ten Bundesliga matches. They prepare to host a struggling Union Berlin side at BayArena on Sunday. You can find the latest money line odds below: 

• Bayer Leverkusen (-385)
• Draw (+460)
• Union Berlin (+860)

The money line clearly indicates that Die Werkself are the favorites to win the match here and it comes as little surprise. They have been unstoppable this term and currently lead the division by two points. Leverkusen have won each of their last ten successive outings across all competitions as well. 

Meanwhile, visitors Union Berlin have been incredibly poor this season and haven’t won a single game since August. However, they were finally able to end their run of 12 consecutive defeats midweek as they drew 1-1 away to Italian champions Napoli in Europe. 

It would be a huge shock if the hosts failed to get the win this weekend. That’s why they are priced so short to win. I won’t be making a money line pick here but sign in to Sports Hub to find out my selection.

Bundesliga Matchday 11 Picks – Stuttgart vs Borussia Dortmund Prediction 

Both looking to bounce back after suffering substandard defeats last time out, Stuttgart face off against Borussia Dortmund at MHPArena on Saturday afternoon. You can find the current money line odds for the encounter below: 

• Stuttgart (+149)
• Draw (+265)
• Borussia Dortmund (+147)

Stuttgart have certainly missed star forward Serhou Guirassy over recent weeks and they have lost two of the three matches that he has been on the sidelines for. A 2-0 defeat away to Heidenheim has certainly brought Die Roten back down to earth after they had made a fine start to the campaign. 

Despite recording a hugely important 2-0 win at home to Newcastle United in the Champions League midweek, BVB need to bounce back from their disappointing 4-0 defeat at home to Bayern Munich last weekend in Der Klassiker. 

It could be a tough one to call since both sides have been inconsistent of late. Nevertheless, I have looked to the goals market for this pick.
