NFL Storylines: Big Losses, Bad Play, Injuries & Terrible Calls
There are plenty of storylines as we enter Week 14 of the NFL. One that gets overlooked far too often is parity. This season has shown that parity is alive and well in the National Football League.
The Carolina Panthers – who are officially eliminated after their Week 13 loss – may be the exception. But every team seems to have a chance when they hit the football field. Look at MNF to close out Week 13. No one gave Jake Browning and the Bengals a chance, and they went into Jacksonville and came out with a win.
Some important pieces went down in Week 13, and it will be interesting to see how teams respond. On the flip side, one team is getting back a big piece in Week 14.
The NFC North storyline intrigues us. Justin Jefferson is due back after a 7-game absence, with the Vikings putting up some big wins. The Lions got back on track after looking like shit on Thanksgiving. Jordan Love is putting it together after a rough start. With Chicago trying to play spoilers.

The 49ers host their division rival Seahawks in Week 14, who at 6 and 6, are still in the hunt for a wildcard spot. This game features the largest Sunday spread at 10.5. NFC South rivals are set to meet up in Atlanta as the Falcons host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in what will be a huge game. Atlanta is a slim 2.5-point betting favorite in this matchup, but you should be checking out the point total for this game.
Both teams have really struggled to put points on the board this season, and each team has also been pretty solid on defense. 20 points should be good enough to win this game, and that means that betting the under is going to be the right play.

The Detroit Lions visit the Chicago Bears for an interesting battle in the NFC North Division, and there will be some good prop betting options in this game. Detroit has been an explosive offense all season long, and they are facing a Bears team that has really struggled to get stops throughout the year.
Detroit will be looking to throw the football in this game, and that will lead to some good options for the Lions throughout this one. Amon-Ra St. Brown is having a huge season for the Lions and you should bet on him to have at least 100 receiving yards in this game.

The 6-6 Los Angeles Rams head to Baltimore to face the 9-3 Ravens on Sunday afternoon. This is a game in which it looks like the Ravens are among the best NFL Week 14 picks to make, but don’t be surprised to see a great battle.
Los Angeles has become a very good offensive team, and that is going to make them extremely dangerous in this game, but they just can’t get stops. Baltimore is comfortable scoring points as well, and taking the over is the way to go in this game.
