Having gone through the fixtures across the top European soccer leagues, I have identified Bundesliga Matchday 14 picks as a profitable source this week.
It has been a fairly underwhelming couple of weeks for my European soccer top leagues picks. I went 2-3 again last week, making it back-to-back weeks with that record. Nevertheless, I am still up over the last few weeks, with my recent record sitting at 14-11-1.
Let’s try and find more winners this time around with my Bundesliga Matchday 14 picks. Make sure that you take a look at my handicapper page, Ashlee Kiddell, in order to gain full access to all of my selections.
Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Recap
Premier League
With midweek Premier League fixtures on show, it has been a frenetic time in the English top-flight of late. Arsenal remain top of the table after they edged out a seven-goal thriller from Kenilworth Road against Luton Town on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, champions Manchester City dropped points again as they suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Unai Emery’s marauding Aston Villa. At the other end of the table, Everton recorded an impressive 3-0 win at home to Newcastle United to move out of the drop zone.
Ligue 1
After making just one pick from Ligue 1 last week, I was able to win that selection after Nantes defeated Nice 1-0. I correctly selected the under in that match as Ligue 1 totals continue to show consistent trends.
Nice have finally suffered their first loss of the campaign and Paris Saint-Germain now lead the league by four points. Les Parisiens defeated Le Havre 2-0 on the road last Sunday. Elsewhere, the bottom-three in Clermont, Lorient and Lyon all failed to win yet again as their woes continued.
La Liga
La Liga picks were absent from last week’s Euro soccer picks as I haven’t had the best of luck with my Spanish top-flight selections this season. Girona continue to prove to be the surprise package and they remain level on points with Real Madrid atop the standings.
There are plenty of out of form teams in La Liga, and Celta Vigo, Granada and Almeria all continue to struggle. Be sure to read on to find out whether any La Liga picks make it in my selections this week.
Bundesliga
Bundesliga Unders proved to be fruitful last week. However, I made the wrong pick as I selected the Bochum vs Wolfsburg match to have under 3 goals. The game ended in a 3-1 victory for the hosts. However, I believe Bundesliga Unders are the way to go at the moment, with six of the eight matches during Round 13 seeing the under land. Check out my Bundesliga Matchday 14 picks below!
Bayer Leverkusen dropped points for just the second time this term as they drew 1-1 at home to Borussia Dortmund. Bayern Munich are now a game behind as their home tie with Union Berlin was postponed due to poor weather conditions in the south of Germany.
Serie A
I focused on Serie A Matchday 14 picks last weekend but I went 1-2 with my three picks. I managed to correctly call Inter’s victory away to Napoli. However, the Unders failed to land in both the Milan vs Frosinone (3-1) and Udinese vs Verona (3-3) matches. Could now be a good time to target Serie A Overs?
We have seen an increase in goals scored in Serie A of late so the latest betting trends are suggesting a change in tack when it comes to totals. Inter continue to lead the pack in the Italian top-flight and Juventus are just two points behind.

Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Bundesliga Matchday 14 Picks
Let’s kick off this week’s Euro soccer bets with Bundesliga Matchday 14 picks. As usual, I have been using the research from my weekly Euro soccer reports to help me with my selections. That means that Bundesliga Unders and Serie A Overs are expected to feature.
We have seen many Bundesliga matches hit the under of late, whilst plenty of goals have been scored in the Italian top-flight. I am anticipating that these betting trends continue this week.
I have analyzed all of the matchups in the German top-tier this weekend and so the hope is that I have identified the right games for my bets. It’s time to get into my Bundesliga Matchday 14 picks!
Bundesliga Matchday 14 Picks – Köln vs Mainz Prediction
Two teams that are not having the best of seasons face off in the Bundesliga this week as Köln play host to Mainz at RheinEnergieStadion. You can find the current money line odds for the encounter below in the first of my Bundesliga Matchday 14 picks:
- Köln (+136)
- Draw (+250)
- Mainz (+195)
Just one point separates the two sides as they sit near the bottom of the table. Köln are narrowly sitting above the bottom-three, whilst Mainz are second from bottom. However, the hosts have improved of late and have suffered just one loss over their last four, conceding just three in the process.
Steffen Baumgart’s men picked up just their second win of the season in their last match, though, as Köln beat Darmstadt 1-0 away from home. Meanwhile, Mainz are without a win in three and lost 1-0 at home to Freiburg in their last outing. Both Köln and Mainz have two of the worst offenses in the division, scoring just 10 and 12 goals respectively.
I am riding the trend of Bundesliga Unders for this match. Neither side have been good in front of goal this season or of late so I can see the Under landing.
Best Bet: Köln vs Mainz Under 2.5 Goals (-109)
Bundesliga Matchday 14 Picks – Stuttgart vs Bayer Leverkusen Prediction
We have a fantastic matchup in the second of my Bundesliga Matchday 14 picks this week. An in-form Stuttgart host league leaders Bayer Leverkusen at MHPArena on Sunday. Be sure to take a look at the latest money line odds for the match:
- Stuttgart (+185)
- Draw (+275)
- Leverkusen (+132)
Sebastian Hoeness has led his Stuttgart side to a remarkable third-place so far this term. They have certainly been one of the surprise packages in the Bundesliga and are currently on a run of four straight victories. That includes successive 2-0 wins over Werder Bremen and Dortmund.
Meanwhile, Xabi Alonso has been doing incredible things himself with his Leverkusen side. They sit top of the pile in the German top-flight, but did drop points away to Dortmund last time out in a 1-1 draw. Die Werkself have kept three consecutive clean sheets on the road so we are set for an intriguing clash this weekend.

Alternative Euro Soccer Top League Picks
I made just two selections for my Bundesliga Matchday 14 picks. Having analyzed each matchup, I only found two suitable fixtures that I liked. Hopefully I will be able to have a winning record this week with my picks and get back on form.
However, I have supplied you with alternative Euro soccer picks as well. That includes three picks from Serie A, as well as a bet on Ligue 1. I’m feeling confident with this weekend’s picks. Let’s hope that results in some good profits.
My alternative picks have utilized both the goal and money line markets. I am in favor of using totals in my picks as it is easier to identify regular betting tendencies week in week out. Money line selections can also result in good value.
Ligue 1 Matchday 15 Picks – Clermont vs Lille Prediction
Ligue 1 strugglers Clermont have a tough task on Sunday as they welcome fourth-placed Lille to Stade Gabriel Montpied. Below you can find the most recent money line odds for the game:
- Clermont (+400)
- Draw (+265)
- Lille (-135)
With just one victory across their past six league games, there’s no wonder why Clermont are struggling near the foot of the table. They were beaten comfortably 3-0 away to Brest in their last match and have scored just two goals over their past five outings. Clermont have the second worst home record in Ligue 1, picking up a measly four points from seven games.
Visitors Lille have been tough to beat this season and have suffered just two league defeats thus far. They are currently on a 12-match unbeaten streak across all competitions and defeated Metz 2-0 on their own turf last time out. They also haven’t suffered a defeat on the road in Ligue 1 since the end of August.
Paulo Fonseca’s side have kept three successive clean sheets as well and have the joint-second best defensive record in the division. Be sure to sign in to Sports Hub to find out what selection I am going for in this match.

Serie A Matchday 15 Picks – Roma vs Fiorentina Prediction
After a torrid opening to the campaign, Jose Mourinho’s Roma have seen an upturn in form of late and they square off against Vincenzo Italiano’s Fiorentina at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday. Check out the latest odds for the match here:
- Roma (+109)
- Draw (+236)
- Fiorentina (+262)
The Giallorossi have stabilized after a worrying start to the season and currently occupy a spot in the top-four. Their 2-1 win away to Sassuolo last time out made it four games without defeat in Serie A. A return to the capital here should bode well, too, since Roma have won their last seven consecutive competitive matches at the Olimpico.
Fiorentina are having a solid season and sit in sixth-place, just one point behind their opponents this weekend. They have won their last three successive matches, despite
needing penalties to conquer Parma in the Coppa Italia midweek. La Viola have the fifth best away record in the division, bettered by just Inter, Napoli, Juventus and Milan.
I like a money line pick for this match so sign in to Sports Hub to find out what I think will be the outcome for the game.

Serie A Matchday 15 Picks – Frosinone vs Torino Prediction
We head to the Italian top-flight again with my next pick. Frosinone take on Torino at home on Sunday in a mid-table clash. Here you can see the latest odds for the match:
- Frosinone (+242)
- Draw (+232)
- Torino (+120)
Despite having one of the worst away records in the division, it is Frosinone’s form at Stadio Benito Stripe that has left them in a good position through 14 games. They are unbeaten across their last six on their own turf, winning five in the process. The Serie A new boys are certainly having an impressive campaign.
Torino recorded a splendid 3-0 triumph at home to Atalanta last time out and have now moved to tenth-place. However, they have also been poor on the road and have picked up just seven points from seven games. The Granata have won just one of their last five away matches and lost 2-0 away to Bologna in their last road game.
I have made two picks for this match as I think that they represent good value. Sign in to Sports Hub to find out my selections.
