Top seed Marie Bouzkova of the Czech Republic overcame Chinese local favorite XinXin Yao 6-3, 6-3 to secure her spot in the quarterfinals. Bouzkova’s consistent serving, including three aces and a strong first-serve success rate of 75 percent, proved crucial as she capitalized on four breaks of serve.

Mananchaya Sawangkaew (Thailand) endured an almost three-hour marathon to eliminate Saisai Zheng 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (6). The closely contested third set highlighted Sawangkaew’s tenacity and ability to perform under immense pressure.

Bouzkova will next face No. 5 seed Kamilla Rakhimova (Russia), who battled past compatriot Elena Pridankina in a tight 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 match lasting nearly two hours. Rakhimova’s stamina and ability to seize opportunities under pressure were key to her win.
