Get 2023 CFL finals predictions for the games this Saturday. The Toronto Argonauts host the Montreal Alouettes in the Eastern Final and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers host the BC Lions in the Western Final.
The Alouettes defeated the Tiger-Cats (27-12) in the Eastern semi-final last weekend. The game stayed under the total and the Als covered against the spread. The Lions defeated the Stampeders (41-30) in the Western semi-final. BC covered the point spread and the game sailed over the total.
The Argonauts and Blue Bombers had a bye week to prepare for the 2023 CFL finals. The winner of each of the finals will advance to the 2023 Grey Cup game, which will be hosted in Hamilton, Ontario this year.

I went 2-0 (+$200) on my CFL picks last week, as I had the Alouettes and Lions to cover ATS. My overall record for the entire Canadian Football League season is now at 47-31-1 (+$1340).
I’ll look to remain undefeated in the playoffs with my CFL finals predictions. The Argos are huge favorites (-10.5) at home and the line has been moving up. The Blue Bombers are favored (-4.5) at home.
Let’s jump into the game previews and my CFL finals predictions.

Alouettes vs. Argonauts Prediction
Get our expert Alouettes vs. Argonauts CFL finals predictions.
- When: Saturday, November 11th 2023 at 3:00 PM ET
- Where: BMO Field in Toronto, Ontario
- Opening Spread: Argonauts -9.5 / Current Spread: Argonauts -10.5
- Opening Total: 50.5 Points / Current Total: 50.5 Points
The Toronto Argonauts (16-2 / 13-5 ATS) had an incredible regular season and they’ll now look to repeat as Grey Cup champions. The Montreal Alouettes (12-7 / 11-7-1 ATS) have won six games in a row.
In three H2H regular season games, the Argos went 3-0 (2-1 ATS). However, they only won one game by double-digits. These two teams often play close games. Toronto’s offense is averaging 32.8 PPG (2nd), 272.7 PYPG (4th) and 113.7 RYPG (4th). Chad Kelly has 23 passing TDs (3rd).
Montreal allow 21.8 PPG (2nd), 239.1 PYPG (2nd) and 109.9 RYPG (5th). The Alouettes don’t get a lot of pressure on the QB (41 sacks – T6), but they’ve forced 48 turnovers (2nd). Toronto will need to get the run game going. A.J. Ouellette has 1,009 rushing yards (4th) and eight rushing TDs (3rd) this season.
The Alouettes average 24.6 PPG (4th), 250.0 PYPG (6th) and 102.2 RYPG (5th) on offense. Toronto are allowing 22.0 PPG (3rd), 297.9 PYPG (8th) and 83.6 RYPG (1st). For as good as the Argos have played this season, they need to tighten up the passing defense in the CFL playoffs.
These were the top two teams in turnover margin (Argos +27 / Als +14) this season. With the point spread being so big, this is a tough game for CFL finals predictions, but we have you covered.

Lions vs. Blue Bombers Prediction
Get our expert Lions vs. Blue Bombers CFL finals predictions.
- When: Saturday, November 11th 2023 at 6:30 PM ET
- Where: IG Field in Winnipeg, Manitoba
- Opening Spread: Blue Bombers -4.5 / Current Spread: Blue Bombers -4.5
- Opening Total: 49.5 Points / Current Total: 50.5 Points
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers (14-4 / 11-7 ATS) are well-rested after having a bye. The BC Lions (13-6 / 9-9-1 ATS) struggled to cover games this season and they’re just 2-2 in their last four games.
Winnipeg are 2-1 (2-1 ATS) against BC this season. The Lions won the first game (30-6), the Bombers won the second game in a blowout (50-14) and Winnipeg won the third game in overtime (34-26).
The Blue Bombers lead the CFL in scoring (33.0 PPG) and points allowed (20.9 PPG). On offense, the Bombers are averaging 292.4 PYPG (2nd) and 139.1 RYPG (1st). Zach Collaros leads the league in passing TDs (33) and Brady Oliveira is tied for the league-lead in rushing TDs (9).
BC are allowing 24.4 PPG (4th), 251.7 PYPG (4th) and 99.3 RYPG (4th). They’re going to struggle to limit the Blue Bombers attack. Winnipeg can get it done through the air and on the ground.
The Lions offense averages 27.5 PPG (3rd), 315.1 PYPG (1st) and 77.3 RYPG (9th). Vernon Adams Jr. is leading the CFL in passing yards (4,769) and he’s second in passing TDs (31). This is going to be a great QB battle between Collaros and Adams Jr. on Saturday. Who will come out on top?

CFL Finals Predictions – Touchdown Scorers
In the opening game, I’m going with Ouellette to score an anytime touchdown. Ouellette has been able to rest up down the stretch, so he should be fresh and I expect him to have a full workload.
Ouellette has four touchdowns in his last five games. He has scored at least one TD in two of three H2H games against the Alouettes. Toronto had 63 red zone trips (2nd) this season. Ouellette will get a lot of touches in the red zone and he’s one of my top CFL finals predictions for this Saturday.
Best Bet: A.J. Ouellette to Score a TD (-170)
In the second game, I’m backing Kenny Lawler to score an anytime touchdown. After scoring a TD in four consecutive games between Weeks 12-15, he hasn’t found the end zone in his last four games.
I expect the Lions vs. Blue Bombers to be a shootout with both QBs airing it out. Lawler is capable of big plays. He has multiple 60-yard receptions this season. Look for Lawler to have a big game.
Best Bet: Kenny Lawler to Score a TD (-110)
CFL Finals Predictions – Player Props
I also have two CFL finals predictions for player props markets. I’m betting on Damonte Coxie to go over 57.5 receiving yards. Coxie had five receptions for 105 yards and 1 TD in Week 20.
Coxie has had 80+ receiving yards in two of his last three games. He has also had 70+ receiving yards in two of three games against Montreal. With everything on the line, Coxie needs to be involved.
Best Bet: Damonte Coxie Over 57.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
To close out my CFL finals predictions, I’m betting on Keon Hatcher to go over 80.5 receiving yards. He has been on an incredible run. He had nine receptions for 195 yards and 1 TD last weekend.
Hatcher has had 90+ receiving yards in four of his last five games. Adams Jr. is going to target him a ton in this game. He averages 15.8 yards per reception, so he won’t need many catches for this to cash.
