Are you looking for some expert Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions? Look no further! The inaugural Formula 1 Las Vegas GP goes down this weekend, and I will gear you up for betting on the race.

We have finally reached the penultimate race of the 2023 F1 season, which has been totally dominated by Max Verstappen. Can the Red Bull superstar secure his 18th victory of the year on Sunday?

Read on to discover my Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions and picks.

Two Races Remaining – What’s Happened This Season?

As I just mentioned, 2023 has been all about one man – Max Verstappen. The 26-year-old secured his third consecutive world championship last month, stamping his authority on the sport.

Remarkably, Verstappen has won 17 of the 20 races this season. Sergio Perez, his Red Bull teammate, won two of the first four races, while Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz triumphed in Singapore back in September. Still, Verstappen boasts a mammoth 266-point lead in the standings.

2023 WORLD DRIVERS’ CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS (TOP 10)

  1. Max Verstappen – 524
  2. Sergio Perez – 258
  3. Lewis Hamilton – 226
  4. Fernando Alonso – 198
  5. Lando Norris – 195
  6. Carlos Sainz – 192
  7. Charles Leclerc – 170
  8. George Russell – 156
  9. Oscar Piastri – 87
  10. Lance Stroll – 63

You probably won’t be surprised to learn that Verstappen is the clear favorite to take the chequered flag this weekend. Before I share my Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions, let’s check out the odds and preview the race.

Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023 Preview

The inaugural Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix will take place this Sunday, November 19. Officially known as the Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023, the race will go down on a temporary street circuit.

Believe it or not, part of the Las Vegas Strip is included in the makeshift track. Drivers will navigate 50 laps of the 3.8530-mile circuit, with the total race length standing at 192.656 miles.

2023 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX OUTRIGHT ODDS

  • Max Verstappen (-334)
  • Lando Norris (+800)
  • Charles Leclerc (+1400)
  • Lewis Hamilton (+1600)
  • Carlos Sainz (+1800)
  • Sergio Perez (+2000)
  • George Russell (+3300)
  • Oscar Piastri (+3300)
  • Fernando Alonso (+5000)
  • Alex Albon (+25000)
  • Esteban Ocon (+25000)
  • Pierre Gasly (+25000)
  • Lance Stroll (+30000)
  • Daniel Ricciardo (+50000)
  • Guanyu Zhou (+50000)
  • Kevin Magnussen (+50000)
  • Nico Hulkenberg (+50000)
  • Valtteri Bottas (+50000)
  • Yuki Tsunoda (+50000)
  • Logan Sargeant (+75000)

Verstappen was priced at -400 to win the previous race in Brazil, so it’s nice to see a price drop for the runaway leader here. That said, Verstappen’s odds are still notably low.

The bookies view Lando Norris as Verstappen’s main challenger this weekend. Charles Leclerc is the third favorite to triumph in Nevada, while Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz complete the top five.

Sergio Perez, Geroge Russell, Oscar Piastri and Fernando Alonso bridge the gap between the frontrunners and outsiders. Could an underdog upset the odds? It’s time for me to reveal my Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions.

2023 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix Predictions

I have scoured the odds to find three top picks for Sunday’s race. Not only will I share my pick for the winner, but I will also provide picks for the top six and the top 10.

Unsurprisingly, my Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions feature Verstappen, but there is plenty of value to be found elsewhere. That’s why I have decided to highlight three different betting markets.

Thanks to Hamilton’s fastest lap in Mexico (+700) and Tsunoda’s top-10 finish in Texas (+400), I’ve enjoyed a lot of success with my F1 picks recently, so I’m confident that we can make a profit this weekend.

Max Verstappen to Win (-334)

The first of my Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions concerns the race winner. Regular readers will likely be bored of me backing Verstappen every weekend, but the Red Bull driver continuously wins us money!

Not only has Verstappen won each of the last five races, but he has also won 15 of the previous 16. When you look at the bigger picture, the world champion possesses an outrageous win ratio of 85% this season.

Although the 26-year-old wrapped up the title a long time ago, his relentless pursuit of perfection means that he won’t take his foot off the gas until the very end. That’s why I’m backing him to taste victory once again.

George Russell to Finish in the Top 6 (-187)

Russell will be eager to make amends in Las Vegas after being forced to retire from the previous race due to mechanical issues. The Mercedes man endured power unit problems last time out, so he will be desperate to bounce back on Sunday.

It is worth remembering that Russell notched three consecutive top-six finishes prior to the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. Having enjoyed success in Qatar, Texas and Mexico, the Brit heads into Sunday’s race in solid form.

On top of that, Russell has finished in the top six on 11 occasions this year. With that in mind, odds of -187 for him to repeat that feat look very attractive.

Esteban Ocon to Finish in the Top 10 (+150)

The last of my Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions concerns the top 10. There are plenty of drivers to consider for this market, but I believe that Esteban Ocon presents the greatest value from a betting perspective.

Ocon enters the Las Vegas GP on the back of successive P10 finishes, having picked up points in Mexico and Brazil. Plus, the Alpine driver has registered four top-10 finishes across the previous five races.

Although Alpine have struggled with mechanical problems this season, Ocon has remained consistent throughout the campaign. I can see the Frenchman chalking up his 12th top-10 finish of the year this weekend.

Finalize Your Las Vegas Grand Prix Predictions

What do you make of my Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions? I’m sure you won’t argue with my winner prediction, but you may be surprised by my other picks.

Backing Verstappen to win is a no-brainer this weekend. However, my other picks offer far better value. Russell’s odds to finish in the top six are certainly worth taking advantage of, while Ocon’s price to finish in the top 10 is too tasty to ignore.

I will be back with more Formula 1 betting advice for the final race of the season. Until then, all you need to do is lock in your Las Vegas Grand Prix predictions and enjoy the race!
