The NBA postseason continues tonight with two more games. Sunday saw the Indiana Pacers and Denver Nuggets both even up their playoff series at 2-2. Indiana used a solid all-around effort and beat the New York Knicks 121-89. Tyrese Haliburton led six Pacers players in double figures with 20 points.
The Pacers also put forth an outstanding defensive effort, particularly on Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson. Aaron Nesmith has held Brunson to 9-for-27 shooting this NBA postseason. Indiana shot 57 percent yesterday and hit 14 three-pointers to tie the series after falling behind 2-0.
Denver also fell behind 2-0 in its series, losing the first two games on its home floor. Yesterday, Nikola Jokic erupted for 35 points and led the Nuggets to a 115-107 victory. Now, the series goes back to Denver on Tuesday night. The NBA postseason will continue through May and into June. The NBA Finals are scheduled to start on June 6.
