Consistently picking winning MLB player props will set a bettor up for a great summer and help grow a bankroll in preparation for the fall football season.
MLB player props are extremely popular bets. Betting on a player to get a hit, hit a home run, or even record a certain number of total bases makes watching games all that more exciting. There are tons of MLB player props from which to choose too. Pitcher props include things like totals bets on the number of strikeouts or on the number of outs recorded. Smart bettors will find their niche and take advantage of it during the season.
Best MLB Player Props
The best MLB players props are really the ones that you can have the most success with. If you know a lot about pitching, you might lean into MLB player props for pitchers. Two of the more popular categories are strikeouts and outs recorded. These MLB player props are both essentially totals bets. You bet the Over/Under on a certain number of strikeouts or outs recorded.
It’s the same for hitter props. Maybe you have some inside information or in-depth knowledge of hitters. You can use that information to take advantage of MLB player props like total bases, number of hits, or even if a player will hit a home run. Many of these hitter MLB player props come down to the matchup between the hitter and the pitcher.
With a little research, bettors can find solid MLB player props to bet on any given day. Plus, smart bettors can go to Sports Hub and see what the experts are betting on.

A Couple Teams Avoid Elimination Yesterday
An NBA team and two NHL teams get to keep playing in their respective playoff series. All three teams were down 3-0 and won Game 4 to stay alive. Did some shoes have something to do with any of these wins? Maybe.
Lionel Messi has big shoes and he filled them big time yesterday. Messi had a huge day in MLS play on Saturday.
Let’s check out some trending news.
- Lakers win: But it wasn’t the shoes. Denver had a mix up prior to the game regarding some of their players’ shoes. Nuggets head coach Michael Malone isn’t blaming the shoes on Denver’s 119-108 loss to Los Angeles. The Lakers get to live another day. Game 5 is in Denver on Monday night.
- Hurricanes & Lightning: The Tampa Bay Lightning beat Florida 6-3 to stay alive in their first-round Stanley Cup playoff series. The Carolina Hurricanes couldn’t get the sweep as they lost to the New York Islanders 3-2 in double overtime. The Islanders stay alive as well.
