The English Premier League has long been recognized as the world’s top soccer league. In addition to Spain’s LaLiga, Germany’s Bundesliga, France’s Ligue 1, and Italy’s Serie A, the Premier League is a top tier soccer brand. The best players and teams in the world play in England’s top league.

Today, the Premier League has seven more matches on the schedule. The 2024 regular season is winding down. The final matches of the Premier League season are on Sunday, May 19. Currently, Manchester City leads the standings. They have a 26-7-3 record and 85 points, two more than Arsenal (26-5-5).

Manchester City beat Fulham 4-0 yesterday to take control of the top spot in the Premier League. Arsenal can get right back to the top of the standings with a win over Manchester United on Sunday. The team with the most points at the end of the season wins the Premier League title. The top four teams, of course, qualify for the Champions League.
