College Football Takes Center Stage – Daily Report – Sept 2

College football rules the day! It’s the first full Saturday of the season and we here at Sports Hub couldn’t be more excited. We’ll start it off with a big helping of college gameday. We’ll watch Coach Corso slur his words and somehow manage to put some ridiculous headgear on his aging head. Then, it’s off to the noon games. A couple of libations later, we’ll shift to the afternoon games before a massive, calorie-laden dinner drives us right into the night games.

Sports Hub is here for the entire ride and we’re with you for the whole season. We’ll bring you the best information, analysis, and, most of all, picks. Visit our football page for the latest breaking news. SportsHub members have access to the top handicappers in the world. Choose free picks and football service plays from a number of college football cappers, all with documented records of success. If you’re looking for more wins in 2023, Sports Hub is the place to be.

  • Best player prop pick

In addition, you’ll find a variety of information all designed to help bettors win more of their CFB bets. It will be worth it.

Sports Hub Cappers Prep for Big Saturday

It was another solid day for our handicappers. Another Sports Hub expert finished among the top-3. Our Sports Hub exclusive handicappers are primed and ready to go for the initial college football Saturday of the season. It’s go time and if you want winners, we’ve got them.

Here’s how yesterday played out on my leaderboard.

Scott’s Picks Went 5-1 Yesterday
  • Scott’s Picks: On top of the board yesterday was Scott’s Picks, who went 5-1. Scott hit both of his college football picks and went 3-1 on his MLB picks. For the day, he cleared $485. That’s a solid day. Look for more NCAAF picks today from Scott’s Picks.
  • Any relation to Bobby Boucher?: That was the talk when we brought up Bobby Babowski, part of the Ultimate Capper group. Bobby went 2-0 on two baseball picks and pocketed $275 yesterday to finish second on the board.
  • Sports Hub expert: Logan Wilson was our guy that finished third yesterday. Logan hit both of his college football picks and won $200. He has several CFB picks for today in the system and a couple NFL picks for next week. SportsHub members can access these picks in the members’ area.

What’s Happening in Sports

What’s happening in sports is simple – college football! Yes, it’s that time of year again and fans and bettors everywhere are thankful and excited. Finally, we get to take in CFB games all day long, from noon until night. But, there are some other things going on in the sports world.

How about these?

  • ACC will grow: This is related to college football. The Atlantic Coast Conference has decided to admit Cal, Stanford, and SMU as full-fledged members beginning with the 2024-25 athletic year. Cal and Stanford had been looking for a home ever since the Pac-12 fell apart.
  • MLB playoff races: The final month of the MLB season should be a good one. Baltimore appears to have the No. 1 seed in the AL locked down. Seattle, Texas, and Houston are engaged in a three-way battle for the AL West crown. The Braves are the top team in the NL followed by the Dodgers. The Phillies hold the top NL wild card spot with the Giants, Cubs, Reds, DBacks, and Marlins all still in the race.
  • Heisman House commercials: With college football back on the schedule, you have likely seen some of the new Heisman House commercials. Last year’s winner Caleb Williams was added to the mix and joins the cast of past winners in all sorts of hilarity. If you’re watching college football today, you’ll probably see a Heisman House commercial.

  • Miggy: Detroit Tigers star Miguel Cabrera had two hits last night. Doesn’t seem like a big deal since he’s been doing things like that for the past 17 MLB seasons. But, with those two hits last night, Cabrera tied George Brett for 17th on the all-time hit list. Cabrera, who will retire after this season, now has 3,154 hits.
  • New kid goes yard: Yankees rookie Jasson Dominguez stepped to the plate last night for his first MLB at-bat. On the mound was three-time Cy Young winner and future Hall of Famer Justin Verlander. Dominguez became the youngest Yankee (20 years, 206 days) to hit a home run on his first MLB at-bat.

College Football Tops Saturday’s Schedule

Is there really anything more to discuss here? It is the first full Saturday of college football for 2023. We can kick it off with the college gameday show and then watch games from noon all the way into the wee hours of the morning. What a great day it will be!

College football makes today’s betting menu extremely vast. With all of the different betting markets available, there are numerous options for bettors today. Besides college football, don’t forget that MLB is in its final month of the 2023 season. All those betting markets further expand today’s betting options. And, as is typical of a weekend, a number of other sports are on the schedule.

Let’s take a look.

  1. Yes, college football: It’s finally here! We are treated to a full slate of college football today for the first time in eight months. Thank God! All of the top teams are in action. No. 1 Georgia should have no trouble with FCS Tennessee-Martin. No. 2 Michigan hosts East Carolina and third-ranked Ohio State travels to Indiana to kick off the season with a Big Ten game.
  1. More football: The CFL begins its Labor Day weekend schedule with a game today. BC (7-4) travels to Montreal (6-4) in a battle of second-place teams.
  2. Baseball: The weekend series continues. All teams are in action today and once again the day ends with a preview of what could be the NLCS. Bryce Elder (11-4, 3.50) takes the mound for Atlanta as they go for a third straight win over the Dodgers. LA has yet to name a starting pitcher.
  3. Tennis: You might want to get in on the US Open Tennis action. Last night, No. 2 Novak Djokovic found himself down by two sets before he roared back to victory over Laslo Djere. Today, top seed and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz takes on No. 26 Daniel Evans. There are tennis picks in the system for today. Check them out in the member’s area.
  4. Soccer around the world: Pick an international soccer league, any one. There is probably at least one match on the schedule. The Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga…all have scheduled matches. MLS has a full slate of matches. Even the Saudi Pro League and the South American leagues are in action today.
  5. Hoops: The FIBA World Cup continues with eight more games today. Team USA had its toughest test yesterday in an 85-73 win over Montenegro. The second round of the tournament concludes on Sept. 4.
  6. More Hoops: There is a game in the WNBA tonight. Seattle plays at first-place Las Vegas. Seattle (11-25) is eliminated from the playoffs. The Aces hold a 1.5-game lead over second-place New York for the top seed in the postseason.
  7. UFC Fight Night: Heavyweight Ciryl Gane takes on Serghei Spivac in the main event tonight.

And, now I can come up for air. Man, that’s a heckuva schedule. Get used to it. With college football here, Saturday’s betting options will be numerous. There are dozens of free picks, premium service plays, and don’t forget our computer picks in the system right now. If you’re a Sports Hub member, you’ve got access to all of them. If you’re not a member…well…you should be. Click that JOIN NOW button at the top of the page. It will change the trajectory of your betting career.
