Have you thought about placing any Bundesliga Matchday 18 picks this weekend? Sports Hub is back to provide you with the best European soccer bets!
I went 3-2 with my five feature Euro soccer top leagues picks last weekend which resulted in a small profit. However, I am sitting top of the 7-day soccer leaderboards and have netted a tidy $628! You can gain access to all of my picks by taking a look at my handicapper page, Ashlee Kiddell.
Bundesliga Matchday 18 picks are the focus this week and I have identified two selections from Germany. However, further picks have been made in Serie A and La Liga. It’s time to take a look at my Euro soccer bets. First, let’s have a quick recap of last week’s action.
Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Recap
Premier League
The stacked festive schedule in the English Premier League has finally started to slow down and teams are now undergoing a staggered winter break. However, there are still five games on show this weekend. Check out our Premier League Matchweek 21 Picks for our latest expert selections!
Manchester City picked up a crucial 3-2 triumph away to Newcastle United last Saturday, and they are now just two points behind league leaders Liverpool. Draws between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, and Everton and Aston Villa failed to really manipulate the standings.
Burnley and Luton Town played out a 1-1 draw last Friday as the two newly-promoted sides remain down in the bottom-three. Everton are just one point ahead of the drop zone, and could even be facing a further points deduction.

Ligue 1
It was great to see Ligue 1 return last weekend after their winter break. Paris Saint-Germain have now extended their lead at the top of the table after beating Lens 2-0, whilst second-placed Nice suffered a 2-0 loss away to Rennes.
My only pick from the French top-flight managed to land as I selected Brest to defeat Montpellier which ended in a comfortable 2-0 victory for the hosts. Brest now occupy third place, and are just one point behind Nice.
Clermont recorded a crucial win away to Nantes (2-1), but they still remain second from bottom. The misery continued for Lorient and Lyon as they suffered 3-0 and 3-1 losses to Lille and Le Havre respectively.
La Liga
I went 1-1 with my feature La Liga Matchday 20 picks last weekend. The value for the draw between Athletic Bilbao vs Real Sociedad (2-1) looked too appealing not to back, and it was unfortunate not to land. Nevertheless, the under 2.5 goals selection (+104) in the Real Betis vs Granada (1-0) game came in at a canter.
League leaders Girona failed to take full advantage in their additional game as they drew 0-0 away to basement-dwellers Almeria. They will be disappointed with that result as it now leaves Real Madrid with the chance to overtake them with their game in hand.
Cadiz’s woeful form continued last weekend as they suffered a 4-1 loss at home to Valencia. They sit in the relegation places, but are just one point behind Sevilla. Sevilla have now lost their last three successive La Liga matches.
Bundesliga
Like Ligue 1, the Bundesliga got back underway last week following their time off for the winter break. It was an atypical low-scoring week across the German top-flight. Perhaps Bundesliga Unders could be a good trend to ride again this time around.
I avoided the Bundesliga for my Euro soccer picks last weekend. However, they make a return this week with Bundesliga Matchday 18 picks! Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich continue to dominate the standings, and they both won once again in their returns to action.
Meanwhile, the bottom-three of Darmstadt, Köln and Mainz all continued to struggle, and they all failed to find the three points during Round 17. Union Berlin are on the cusp of the relegation places, but are looking for a third game without suffering a defeat.
Serie A
There were a couple of selections that I liked from Serie A last week, but I only managed to go 1-1 with my picks. I correctly called the under in the Lazio vs Lecce (1-0) match, but was completely off the mark with my under 2.5 goals bet for the Monza vs Inter game (1-5).
It looks as though Inter and Juventus are the two teams that will be battling it out to win the Scudetto this season. They are both on incredible runs of form right now, and a gap is opening up between them and the rest of the league. The Old Lady also wrapped up a comfortable three points during Round 20, defeating Sassuolo 3-0.
Elsewhere, Verona found an important victory as they defeated fellow relegation candidates Empoli 2-1, despite being reduced to ten men late on. Salernitana remain rock bottom after their 2-1 loss away to champions Napoli.
Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Bundesliga Matchday 18 Picks
Having analyzed all of the fixtures across the top Euro soccer leagues this weekend, I have made just two bets with my Bundesliga Matchday 18 picks. However, both are showing good value, and are supported with the research.
Bundesliga Unders look to be a good bet in recent weeks, and just 33.33% of games during Round 17 saw over 2.5 goals. That percentage dropped to as low as 11.11% for over 3.5 goals.
Further predictions have been made below from the rest of the European leagues in my alternative Euro soccer picks. Make sure that you check those out below. First, let’s see what I have gone for with my Bundesliga Matchday 18 picks!
Bundesliga Matchday 18 Picks – FC Köln vs Borussia Dortmund Prediction
Bundesliga strugglers FC Köln welcome Dortmund to RheinEnergieStadion on Saturday. Take a look at the latest money line odds for the first of my Bundesliga Matchday 18 picks below:
- Köln (+353)
- Draw (+322)
- Dortmund (-145)
It’s been a difficult campaign so far for the home side, and they have picked up just two wins from their 17 matches. They are also without a win in four, and have scored the least amount of goals in the division (11).
Visitors BVB have not been as strong as they were last term, which saw them lose out on winning the title on goal difference. They managed to find their first victory in six competitive outings last time out, defeating Darmstadt 3-0 on the road.
I’m backing the under for this match as I think U3 represents good value at +100. Köln have struggled in front of goal, and Dortmund have scored the least goals out of the top-five this term.
Best Bet: Köln vs Dortmund Under 3 Goals (+100)
Bundesliga Matchday 18 Picks – Darmstadt vs Frankfurt Prediction
Next up for my Bundesliga Matchday 18 picks sees Darmstadt play host to Dino Toppmöller’s Eintracht Frankfurt at Merck-Stadion am Bollenfalltor on Saturday. Below you can find the most recent money line odds for the game:
- Darmstadt (+288)
- Draw (+278)
- Frankfurt (-111)
After suffering the most defeats across the Bundesliga this term (11), Darmstadt sit bottom of the pile. They finished second in 2. Bundesliga last term, and are clearly struggling to adapt to life in the top-flight. Die Lilien are on a run of ten consecutive matches without a win, and lost 3-0 at home to Dortmund last time out.
Frankfurt have been pretty inconsistent during the 2023/24 campaign, but they have won three of their last four in the league. That run of form also includes a vehement 5-1 victory at home to champions Bayern Munich and a 1-0 win away to RB Leipzig in their last match.

Alternative Euro Soccer Top League Picks
My Bundesliga Matchday 18 picks are now locked in! The German top-flight has been a very profitable source for soccer bets this season. Hopefully it can result in some nice profits again this week.
However, now it’s time to move onto my other Euro soccer picks. I have made a couple of selections that I really like from Serie A. Overs from Italy have been trending of late, and that looks set to be a good tactic to follow this weekend.
My final pick from Europe comes from La Liga. The Spanish top-flight hasn’t been the most friendly to me this season, but the recent betting trends are suggesting that I may have found a winner this week!

Serie A Matchday 21 Picks – Udinese vs Milan Prediction
After losing just one of their last five Serie A outings, Udinese welcome Milan to Stadio Friuli on Saturday. Be sure to check out the current money line prices for the match here:
- Udinese (+308)
- Draw (+283)
- Milan (-120)
With just two wins on the board in the league this season, hosts Udinese are just one point above the relegation places. They replaced head coach Andrea Sottil back in October, but new boss Gabriele Cioffi has only marginally improved results thus far. Still, they have lost just one of their last seven in the league on their own turf.
As for Milan, they enter this one on a good run of form, and have won their last three straight in Serie A, going unbeaten in five. They have scored at least three goals in both of their last two league outings as well, and easily beat Roma 3-1 at San Siro last Sunday. The Rossoneri have been far from perfect on the road, nonetheless, and have just two victories over their past seven competitive away games.

Serie A Matchday 21 Picks – Lecce vs Juventus Prediction
Another selection this week comes from Serie A as Lecce square off against heavyweights Juventus at Stadio Via del Mare. You can find the latest money line odds for the affair here:
- Lecce (+495)
- Draw (+264)
- Juventus (-154)
Currently on a run of 15 league games without defeat, it’s no wonder that Juve are favorites to triumph away to Lecce in this one. The Bianconeri have won their last six successive matches across all competitions, and have conceded just three goals in the process.
Hosts Lecce are four points ahead of the relegation places, but if their run of four games without a win continues, it won’t be long until they get dragged in. They have won just one of their last 15 league games as well so are on a dismal run of form.
There’s not too much value in Juve to win this one at -154. However, I have found a bet I like more from the goals market. Sign in to Sports Hub to take a look at my pick!

La Liga Matchday 21 Picks – Rayo Vallecano vs Las Palmas Prediction
The last of my picks this weekend comes from La Liga as Rayo Vallecano take on Las Palmas at Estadio de Vallecas. Below you can see the latest money line prices for the match:
- Rayo Vallecano (-114)
- Draw (+247)
- Las Palmas (+339)
Home side Rayo Vallecano are having a solid campaign in mid-table, and they managed to beat Getafe 2-0 on the road last time out. That was their first victory in eight league games, though, and they exited the Copa del Rey midweek after losing 3-1 away to Girona.
Las Palmas have overcome their poor start to the season, and now sit in the top-half, just four points off the European places. They recorded a comprehensive 3-0 home win over Villarreal in their most recent outing, but had failed to win any of their four consecutive matches prior.
Once again, I have targeted the goals market for this bet. It looks like a tough game to call, and the research is favoring a pick outside of the money line.
