Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Bundesliga Matchday 6 Picks

European soccer has a full slate of fixtures once again this week and I am focusing on Bundesliga Matchday 6 picks. As always, I will be providing you with my top picks for the weekend’s fixtures. Wanna learn how to bet on soccer?

Games run until Monday for this round of matches before the top Euro soccer clubs go head-to-head in the Champions League again next midweek. 

I only managed to hit two out of my five picks from last week, with just one Serie A and one La Liga selection landing. Hopefully I can increase that this week as I return to trusted Bundesliga Matchday 6 picks. 

Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Recap 

Premier League 

None of the Premier League matches managed to make it in my picks last weekend. Perhaps they will feature this time around. The English top-flight was full with goals in the last round of fixtures, with a total of 30 going in. 

Newcastle United dismantled Sheffield United in a 8-0 triumph at Bramall Lane, whilst Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur played out a 2-2 draw in the north London derby. There’s always plenty of drama in the Premier League. 

Ligue 1

Another win for Brest last time out leaves them top of Ligue 1 as their superb opening to the campaign continues. Paris Saint-Germain got back to winning ways with a comprehensive victory at home to Marseille. 

The likes of Lens and Lyon continue to struggle near the bottom of the table, despite having good seasons last term. Clermont have also been poor, even though they finished in the top-half last season. 

La Liga 

Heavyweights Real Madrid were thwarted last Sunday as they lost in the Madrid derby away to Atletico Madrid. My selection hit as I had over 2.5 goals in the match, with Atletico securing the win with a 3-1 triumph. 

Girona have continued in their marvelous start to the campaign having dropped points in just one match this term. They have a salivating clash with Real Madrid on Saturday. Watch out to see if that game makes it in my selections. 

Bundesliga

The Bundesliga didn’t deliver as many goals as we have been accustomed to last weekend but it is still a good idea to look at the overs. Bundesliga Matchday 6 picks will be the feature for this week’s article. 

My only Bundesliga pick didn’t land but it was just one goal off. I had over 2.5 goals in the Union Berlin vs Hoffenheim match but it ended in a 2-0 win for the visitors. 

Serie A 

It didn’t work out for my feature Serie A Matchday 5 picks last week as just one of my selections landed. I backed Lecce to defeat Genoa which they did in a 1-0 win. However, I was just one goal off in each of my other picks. 

Somehow Inter only beat Empoli 1-0 which meant my -1 ½  handicap failed to come in. Torino vs Roma ended 1-1 as my over 2.5 goals selection didn’t hit either. However, I wasn’t far off in both selections so I can’t be too downhearted. Sometimes the bookies get lucky instead!

Bundesliga Matchday 6 Picks – RB Leipzig vs Bayern Munich Prediction 

We have a blockbuster Bundesliga clash this weekend as RB Leipzig play host to champions Bayern Munich at Red Bull Arena. Let’s check out the current money line odds for the match:

It should be known by now that the Bundesliga always has a plethora of goals and Leipzig vs Bayern seems to be the perfect place to start for my Bundesliga Matchday 6 picks. 

The hosts have scored at least two goals in all but one of their five league games thus far. Bayern have proven this season that they are susceptible to conceding goals too, such as at home to Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen. 

I am backing Leipzig to get at least two goals as they return to their own turf in this one. It should be an incredibly entertaining match-up. 

Best Bet: RB Leipzig Over 1.5 goals (+115)

Bundesliga Matchday 6 Picks – Mainz vs Bayer Leverkusen Prediction

Next up in my Bundesliga Matchday 6 picks sees Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen travel to basement-dwellers Mainz on Saturday. Let’s see the current odds for the game:

• Mainz (+420)
• Draw (+340)
• Leverkusen (-192)

Leverkusen have had a fantastic opening to the season and are level on points with Bayern near the top of the standings. They have been excellent in front of goal too and have scored the second most goals in the league. 

The visitors have been woeful this term and have picked up just one point from their first five outings. They have also conceded a total of 14 goals too, the second most in the Bundesliga. 

I will be avoiding the money line since Leverkusen are too short of a price but sign in to Sports Hub to gain access to my pick.

Bundesliga Matchday 6 Picks – FC Köln vs Stuttgart Prediction

Looking for their fourth straight Bundesliga victory, Stuttgart face FC Köln away from home on Saturday at RheinEnergie Stadion. Check out the current odds for the match below in the final one of my Bundesliga Matchday 6 picks: 

• Köln (+175)
• Draw (+250
• Stuttgart (+134)

Sebastian Hoeneß has revitalized Stuttgart and they are set to have a wonderful campaign in the Bundesliga top-flight this season. They are just one point off of leaders Bayern and Leverkusen and have been excellent going forward, scoring a total of 17 goals after just five matches. 

However, Köln have had a poor start and sit in the bottom three after picking up just one point from their opening five games. They have lost both of their home matches so far this term too.

Alternative Euro Soccer Top League Picks 

I have returned to Germany for my feature picks this week. Hopefully I am successful with my Bundesliga Matchday 6 picks and I am feeling confident about them. The Bundesliga has been profitable in recent weeks. 

Now it’s time to get into alternative Euro soccer leagues selections. My Euro soccer weekly review highlighted La Liga as a good league to target so I have included a pick from Spain.

La Liga Matchday 8 Picks – Girona vs Real Madrid Prediction

Los Blancos bounced back from their loss against Atletico last weekend with a victory midweek. They will be keen to find a bit of consistency again this weekend but they face a tricky task up against current league leaders Girona. Let’s take a look at the current odds for the match:

My Euro soccer weekly review this week highlighted how selecting the overs in La Liga goals could be a profitable trend and we are set for a fantastic clash between Girona and Real Madrid on Saturday. 

It is going to be hard to predict the outcome of this game since the hosts are in incredible form, whilst the visitors proved they haven’t perfected things quite yet in their loss last Sunday. However, both teams have seen many goals of late at both ends of the pitch.

Premier League Matchday 7 Picks – Fulham vs Chelsea Prediction 

We have an enticing west London derby in store on Monday night as Fulham welcome Chelsea to Stamford Bridge. Here are the current odds for the encounter:

• Chelsea (-104)

The Blues have had an incredibly slow start to the campaign and have picked up just five points from six matches. Fulham have had a pretty steady start and are unbeaten across their last three competitive matches. 

Goals have been incredibly hard to come by for both teams so far this term and recent league outings have failed to yield over 2.5 goals. Only two sides in the Premier League have scored more goals than Fulham and Chelsea.
