Over 2.5 Bundesliga goals remains a profitable trend. The first international break is upon us and so sadly we will be taking a break from European soccer action. But don’t worry, we still have international fixtures on show later this week and you can still catch our European soccer weekly review.
Manchester City have made it four wins from four to boast a 100% record in the English Premier League. They are just one of six teams left across the top five leagues to have won all of their matches to start the new season.
Inter and Milan march on as they have won three from three. It looks like the Scudetto could be heading back to Lombardy by the end of the campaign. The Nerazzurri are yet to concede a single goal so far as well!
Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen sit atop the Bundesliga standings, whilst Borussia Dortmund surprisingly dropped points. Once again, the German top-flight is featuring a lot of goals and bettors should be targeting over 2.5 Bundesliga goals.
Real Madrid are just the second team in Europe’s top five to have won all four of their opening matches. Finally, Monaco top Ligue 1 and have dropped points in just one match, whilst Paris Saint-Germain looked back at their best against Lyon.
Below you can find my weekly European soccer review which recaps all of the latest happenings across Europe’s top five soccer leagues, including results, key stats and betting trends. Bettors would be foolish not to consider over 2.5 Bundesliga goals in Matchday 4.

European Soccer Weekly Review – Over 2.5 Bundesliga Goals Dominates Again
So, all of the results are in and you should be all up to date with what’s been happening across Europe’s top five soccer leagues. Let’s try and find some markets that you should be targeting.
If you want to be a profitable soccer bettor, it’s a good idea to keep up to date with both Sports Hub’s Premier League review and European soccer weekly review. We will be providing you with all the information you need to consistently find winners.
My research resulted in some solid wins for my Euro soccer top leagues picks in Matchday 3. Hopefully I can continue to find winners for you once the club soccer returns after the international break.
Euro soccer betting trends – Over 2.5 Bundesliga goals leads the way
Last week, my key stats highlighted the Bundesliga as the league to target in the goals market. 77.78% of Matchday 2 Bundesliga matches had both teams score, whilst 66.67% of Matchday 2 matches saw over 2.5 Bundesliga goals. These percentages were the highest out of the rest of the top five leagues, not taking into consideration the Premier League. The total goals scored in the Bundesliga for Matchday 2 was 31.
During Matchday 3, 66.67% of Bundesliga matches saw both teams score, whilst a mammoth 88.89% of matches saw over 2.5 Bundesliga goals! Yet again, the Bundesliga leads the way for both markets out of the rest of the top leagues. The total goals scored in the Bundesliga for Matchday 3 was 35.
Bettors should continue to target plenty of Bundesliga goals for Matchday 4. Teams such as Leverkusen (11), Stuttgart (11) and RB Leipzig (10) are the highest scorers in the division.
Bayern Munich, Stuttgart, RB Leipzig, Augsburg, Mönchengladbach, Hoffenheim, Leverkusen and Union Berlin have maintained their 100% record for over 2.5 Bundesliga goals through Matchday 3. These are the teams to target for Matchday 4.
Home wins over away wins
It’s common knowledge that teams playing at home typically have the advantage. Sometimes it is good for bettors to fade the public consensus and perhaps find good value in targeting either draws or away wins.
Nevertheless, the research is showing that home wins are more common across Europe’s top five leagues. Home wins were the trend across La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A last weekend. Only Ligue 1 failed to see home wins come out on top, being matched by the percentage of draws.
Serie A has had back-to-back weeks where home wins have dominated the results. 50% of matches resulted in home wins during Matchday 2, whilst 60% of games resulted in home wins during Matchday 3. Home wins for Serie A may be a good idea to target in Matchday 4. However, be sure to analyze each game in detail before making your picks.
