Clemson Lands Purdue Edge Rusher Will Heldt

Clemson secured a rare transfer under head coach Dabo Swinney with the addition of Purdue edge rusher Will Heldt. Heldt, who made 56 tackles (10 for loss), five sacks, and a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown in 2024, becomes the first defensive player to transfer into Clemson during Swinney’s tenure.

This marks a significant move for Clemson, which has largely avoided the transfer portal under Swinney.

Zach Calzada Transfers to Kentucky

Quarterback Zach Calzada, who last played FBS football with Texas A&M in 2021, is heading to Kentucky. After undergoing shoulder surgery in 2022, Calzada transferred to Incarnate Word, where he posted impressive stats with 6,144 passing yards, 53 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions over two seasons.

The 24-year-old, granted an additional year of eligibility due to a medical redshirt, is expected to bring experience and depth to Kentucky’s quarterback room.

Malachi Singleton Moves to Purdue

Singleton adds versatility to Purdue’s offensive system as he looks to take the next step in his collegiate career.
