Brandon Nimmo delivered a monster performance, belting a grand slam and a three-run homer as part of a four-hit, nine-RBI night in the Mets’ blowout of the Nationals. Nimmo added a two-run double to help New York become the first MLB team to 20 wins this season.

Griffin Canning tossed five scoreless innings for his fourth win, and Jose Urena notched his first save with three innings of relief. Washington managed two solo homers in a five-run eighth, but Trevor Williams struggled early and took the loss.
