Brayan Rocchio added a two-run single as the Guardians overcame homers by Mike Trout and Logan O’Hoppe. Tim Herrin earned the win in relief and Emmanuel Clase recorded the save despite allowing two ninth-inning runs.

Robbie Ray dominated his former team with six innings of one-run ball, supported by Jung Hoo Lee and Matt Chapman, who each doubled twice. Ryan Walker notched his third save for San Francisco, which extended its winning streak to six. Dylan Moore hit the lone homer for Seattle.
Mets 3, Blue Jays 2
Jesse Winker’s two-run triple tied it in the eighth and Francisco Lindor’s ninth-inning sac fly gave New York the walk-off win. Toronto’s Bo Bichette had three hits and George Springer left with a back injury after a wall collision.
Twins 6, Astros 1
A six-run fourth inning, highlighted by José Miranda’s three-run homer, lifted Minnesota past Houston. Jose Altuve went 3-for-5 with a solo shot in the loss. The Twins’ bullpen held Houston scoreless over the final five frames.
Tigers 7, White Sox 2
Kerry Carpenter homered for the third time in two days, while Spencer Torkelson added a solo shot in Detroit’s fourth win in five. Chicago’s Korey Lee had three hits, and Andrew Vaughn doubled in a run.
Cubs 7, Padres 1
Carson Kelly homered and drove in four runs, Matthew Boyd pitched six shutout innings, and Chicago handed San Diego its second straight loss after a 7-0 start. Fernando Tatis Jr. had the Padres’ only RBI.
Dodgers 3, Phillies 1
Enrique Hernández and Michael Conforto homered and Roki Sasaki held Philadelphia to one run across four-plus innings. Tanner Scott earned his third save. Kyle Schwarber scored the Phillies’ lone run on an Alec Bohm groundout.

Alex Call drove in two runs and James Wood added a two-run double as Washington edged Arizona. Mitchell Parker earned his first big league win with six strong innings. Tim Tawa had an RBI in his MLB debut for the D-backs.

Tomoyuki Sugano took a shutout into the sixth and Gary Sanchez, Tyler O’Neill, and Jackson Holliday each drove in two as Baltimore snapped a three-game skid. Bobby Witt Jr. hit his first homer of the season for Kansas City.
Rangers 6, Rays 4
Wyatt Langford’s two-run homer in the sixth proved decisive after the Rays tied it in the top half. Marcus Semien and Jake Burger also homered for Texas. Brandon Lowe went deep for Tampa Bay, which fell despite 10 hits.
Yankees 10, Pirates 4
Trent Grisham homered twice and drove in four, and New York erupted for six runs in the fifth to erase a four-run deficit. The Yankees have 25 homers through eight games, an MLB record. Marcus Stroman allowed four runs in four innings.
Marlins 4, Braves 0
Matt Mervis hit two homers and Cal Quantrill tossed five shutout innings to give Miami a bounce-back win. Atlanta, which had 10 runs on Friday, managed only seven hits and was blanked for the third time this season.
Athletics 7, Rockies 4
Brent Rooker and Shea Langeliers homered in a three-run seventh inning to rally Oakland in snowy Denver. Jacob Wilson had a two-run double and earlier hit into a triple play. JP Sears earned the win with 6 1/3 strong innings.
Reds 11, Brewers 7
Cincinnati erupted with four home runs, including two-run blasts from TJ Friedl and Jose Trevino, to end a four-game skid. Blake Dunn and Christian Encarnacion-Strand also homered. Sal Frelick had four hits for Milwaukee.

Logan O’Hoppe, Mike Trout, Luis Rengifo, and Jorge Soler all homered as Los Angeles powered past Cleveland. Jack Kochanowicz earned his first win with five innings of four-hit ball. Tanner Bibee gave up seven runs in the loss.
