Tyrese Maxey exploded for 45 points, including 10 in overtime, to lift the Philadelphia 76ers to their first win of the season over the Indiana Pacers. Maxey kicked off overtime with a deep 3-pointer and followed up with a key layup on a goaltending call, providing Philadelphia a critical three-point lead with 20.7 seconds left. Maxey also added four rebounds and four assists.
The Sixers rallied late to force overtime, overcoming a 102-97 deficit with under two minutes remaining. Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton nailed a last-second 3-pointer to tie it at the end of regulation. Despite a team-high 22 points from Haliburton, he was unusually off with more turnovers than assists.

Clippers 112, Warriors 104
Ivica Zubac posted 23 points, 18 rebounds, and six assists, while James Harden added 23 points and 11 assists as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco. Norman Powell chipped in 20 points, and Derrick Jones Jr. contributed 18, helping the Clippers fend off a fourth-quarter push from Golden State.
Warriors star Stephen Curry left with a sprained ankle late in the third quarter, returned briefly in the fourth, but ultimately was subbed out as Andrew Wiggins led Golden State with 29 points.
Thunder 128, Hawks 104
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put up 35 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists, powering the Oklahoma City Thunder to a victory over the Atlanta Hawks and a 3-0 start for the first time since 2016. Chet Holmgren added 25 points and nine rebounds, while Jalen Williams contributed 20 points.
Oklahoma City took over after Atlanta held a one-point lead early in the fourth, sparking a 13-0 run to seal the game. Trae Young led Atlanta with 24 points but struggled with 10 turnovers.
Nets 115, Bucks 102
Cam Thomas scored 32 points, and Dennis Schroder added 29 as the Brooklyn Nets controlled the second half to down the Milwaukee Bucks in New York. Thomas and Schroder combined for 18 of 36 shooting and hit seven of Brooklyn’s 16 threes.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists, while Damian Lillard scored 21. The Bucks struggled from 3-point range, converting only 10 of 33 attempts.

Trail Blazers 125, Pelicans 103
Jerami Grant led with 28 points, and Deandre Ayton posted a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds as the Portland Trail Blazers earned their first win of the season by beating the New Orleans Pelicans. Anfernee Simons contributed 27 points, while Toumani Camara and Deni Avdija rounded out the starters in double figures.
The Pelicans, led by CJ McCollum’s 27 points and Jordan Hawkins’ 17 off the bench, trailed by as many as 24 points in a tough outing.
