Mitchell led a balanced attack with six Cavaliers scoring in double digits, including Jarrett Allen (16 points and 14 rebounds) and Caris LeVert (16 points off the bench).
Zion Williamson led the Pelicans with 29 points, while Jose Alvarado added 27 and Brandon Ingram scored 20.
