NBA action on Wednesday night was packed with statement wins, streak-snapping moments, and wild finishes. Here’s a full breakdown from across the league.


Heat 124, Celtics 103

Tyler Herro scored 25 points and Bam Adebayo added 21 as the Miami Heat extended their winning streak to six games and ended the Celtics’ nine-game streak with a dominant road victory.

Miami hit 14-of-30 from deep (46.7%) and saw seven players reach double figures. Kyle Anderson came off the bench with 19 points. Miami used an 8-0 fourth-quarter run to pull away late.

Jaylen Brown led Boston with 24 points and nine boards. The 21-point loss tied Boston’s worst of the season.

Thunder 119, Pistons 103

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander dropped 33 points as Oklahoma City tied a franchise-record with their 64th win, matching the 1995-96 Seattle SuperSonics.

Jalen Williams added 23 points and Chet Holmgren chipped in with 22 points and 11 rebounds. The Thunder have now won 11 straight.

The Pistons were without Cade Cunningham and three suspended players. Tim Hardaway Jr. led Detroit with 23.

Mavericks 120, Hawks 118

Anthony Davis buried the game-winner with 3.4 seconds left as Dallas edged Atlanta in a wild back-and-forth clash.

Davis had 34 points and 15 rebounds, while Spencer Dinwiddie notched a 14-point, 10-assist double-double.

Trae Young scored 25 with 12 assists but missed a game-winning three at the buzzer. Onyeka Okongwu posted 20 points and 14 boards.

Clippers 114, Pelicans 98

Kawhi Leonard poured in 28 and James Harden added 21 points and 10 assists to help Los Angeles beat New Orleans.

Ivica Zubac dominated the paint with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. The Clippers moved into a three-way tie for sixth in the West with Memphis and Minnesota.

Jose Alvarado had 17 points and 10 assists for the Pelicans, who’ve lost 11 of 15.

Donovan Mitchell led six double-digit Cavs scorers with 27 points as Cleveland broke open a tight game in the fourth.

OG Anunoby added 23 for the Knicks, but Cleveland’s 15-3 run to open the final period sealed it.

Alperen Sengun just missed a triple-double and Jalen Green scored 22 as the Rockets blew out Utah.
