Morant’s Late Heroics Propel Grizzlies Past Timberwolves
Ja Morant scored back-to-back baskets in the final minute, lifting the Memphis Grizzlies to a 127-125 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Minneapolis. Despite shooting just 5-for-19 from the field, Morant delivered when it mattered, finishing with 12 points. Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 33 points and eight rebounds, while Desmond Bane added 21 points.
Minnesota, which saw its three-game winning streak snapped, was led by Donte DiVincenzo’s 27 points and 10 rebounds. Jaden McDaniels contributed 21 points, and Naz Reid scored 19 off the bench. The Timberwolves failed to score in the final 1:41 after Rudy Gobert’s layup gave them a four-point lead.

Herro Shines as Heat Dominate Trail Blazers
Tyler Herro knocked down seven 3-pointers en route to 32 points, leading the Miami Heat to a convincing 119-98 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Herro also chipped in five rebounds and five assists as Miami won its third straight game, all on the road.

Booker, Durant Lead Suns Past Jazz
Devin Booker tied his season high with six 3-pointers, scoring 34 points to power the Phoenix Suns to a 114-106 victory over the visiting Utah Jazz. Kevin Durant added 25 points for Phoenix, which regained control with an 11-0 run after Utah closed to within three points early in the fourth quarter.
Lauri Markkanen paced Utah with 24 points, while Collin Sexton contributed 20. Walker Kessler recorded a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds, but the Jazz couldn’t overcome their slow start.
