Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists in a decisive win over the San Antonio Spurs. Making his Mavericks debut, Klay Thompson added 22 points on 6-of-10 shooting from beyond the arc. Dallas turned a narrow halftime deficit into a comfortable 21-point lead by the fourth quarter.
For the Spurs, Julian Champagnie and Jeremy Sochan each scored 18 points, while Victor Wembanyama contributed 17 points and nine rebounds but shot just 5 of 18 from the field.

Anthony Edwards scored 32 points, hitting two clutch free throws with 2.4 seconds remaining to lift the Minnesota Timberwolves over the Sacramento Kings. Julius Randle topped all scorers with 33 points, and Naz Reid had a double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds off the bench.

Celtics 122, Wizards 102
Jaylen Brown led the Boston Celtics with 27 points, while Jayson Tatum contributed 25 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists as they eased past the Washington Wizards. Boston hit 17 3-pointers, including a combined nine from Payton Pritchard and Derrick White.
Jordan Poole led Washington with 26 points, though the Wizards shot just 7 of 36 from 3-point range in their season opener.
