Nikola Jokic delivered a massive triple-double with 29 points, 18 rebounds, and 16 assists as the Denver Nuggets rallied to defeat the Brooklyn Nets in a high-scoring overtime thriller in New York. Jokic got plenty of support from Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon, who scored 24 points each. Russell Westbrook added 22 points off the bench, contributing to Denver’s second straight overtime victory.
The Nets, who had seven players in double figures, were led by Dennis Schroder with 28 points and 14 assists, and Cam Thomas added 26 points. Brooklyn led briefly in overtime, but Denver surged ahead with an 8-0 run, holding onto the lead until the final buzzer. Cameron Johnson hit a late 3-pointer to pull the Nets closer, but Denver ultimately closed out the game.

Mavericks 120, Timberwolves 114
Kyrie Irving had a big night, scoring 35 points on 13-for-23 shooting to propel the Dallas Mavericks to a hard-fought victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Luka Doncic contributed across the board with 24 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists for Dallas, which won on consecutive nights. P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford chipped in with 17 and 14 points, respectively.
Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 37 points on an efficient 12-of-20 shooting, but his performance wasn’t enough to secure a third straight win for the Timberwolves. Julius Randle added 20 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists, while Naz Reid provided 14 points and nine rebounds off the bench.
Kings 113, Jazz 96
Domantas Sabonis scored 28 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to help the Sacramento Kings overpower the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City. DeMar DeRozan added 20 points and eight assists, and all five Kings starters scored in double figures. De’Aaron Fox contributed 19 points, while Keegan Murray and Kevin Huerter scored 14 points each.
For the Jazz, Jordan Clarkson led with 21 points, shooting 50% from the floor, while John Collins came off the bench to add 18 points and seven rebounds.

Warriors 124, Pelicans 106
Buddy Hield took advantage of his new role in the starting lineup, scoring 28 points as the Golden State Warriors overcame a 20-point deficit to defeat the New Orleans Pelicans. Golden State played without Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins, and De’Anthony Melton, but strong performances from starters Brandin Podziemski (19 points) and Moses Moody (17 points) powered the Warriors to a comeback victory.
For the Pelicans, Zion Williamson scored a game-high 31 points, and Brandon Ingram added 30 points in the loss. The Pelicans, who played in a similar two-game series against the Trail Blazers last week, will look to bounce back in the next matchup against Golden State.
