The game featured a wild finish, with Kyshawn George hitting a three-pointer to give Washington a 123-121 lead with 10 seconds left. Denver’s Jamal Murray (24 points, seven assists, four steals) tied it with a jumper before Poole’s heroics sealed the win.

Nikola Jokic had a dominant performance, finishing with 40 points, 13 rebounds, and nine assists for Denver (43-25), while Russell Westbrook added 22 points and 11 assists, becoming the 21st player in NBA history to reach 26,000 career points.

Moses Moody broke a tie with 2:26 left, and Draymond Green added a clutch layup with 25 seconds remaining, as the Golden State Warriors held off the New York Knicks 97-94 in San Francisco.

Spurs Hold Off Pelicans in Tight Battle
