No. 1 Houston 62, No. 4 Purdue 60
Milos Uzan’s game-winning layup with 0.9 seconds remaining lifted top-seeded Houston past Purdue 62-60 in a dramatic Midwest Region Sweet 16 showdown in Indianapolis. Uzan, who finished with 22 points and six assists, inbounded the ball with 2.8 seconds left, got it right back on a give-and-go, and scored the winner to send the Cougars (33-4) to the Elite Eight.
Houston had led by 10 points before the Boilermakers rallied late to tie the game with under a minute to play. Fletcher Loyer led Purdue (24-12) with 16 points, but the final buzzer-beater attempt from Braden Smith fell short.
The Cougars will face No. 2 Tennessee on Sunday for a spot in the Final Four.

No. 2 Tennessee 78, No. 3 Kentucky 65
Tennessee avenged two regular-season losses to Kentucky with a strong all-around performance, knocking off the Wildcats 78-65 to secure a spot in the Elite Eight. Zakai Zeigler orchestrated the offense and Chaz Lanier led the way with 17 points for the Volunteers (30-7). Jordan Gainey added 16 in the win.
Tennessee dominated the glass and found timely buckets to pull away late. Kentucky (24-12) was led by Lamont Butler’s 18 points, but the Wildcats struggled from deep, converting just six 3-pointers.
SOUTH REGION
No. 1 Auburn 78, No. 5 Michigan 65
Johni Broome powered top-seeded Auburn into the Elite Eight with 22 points and 16 rebounds in a 78-65 comeback win over Michigan in Atlanta. Trailing by nine early in the second half, the Tigers (31-5) surged ahead behind Broome, Denver Jones (20 points), and Tahaad Pettiford (20 points) to reach their third-ever Elite Eight.
Danny Wolf paced Michigan (27-10) with 20 points, while Vladislav Goldin nearly posted a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds.
Auburn advances to face No. 2 Michigan State on Sunday with a Final Four berth on the line.

No. 2 Michigan State 73, No. 6 Ole Miss 70
Freshman Jase Richardson scored 20 points and Coen Carr added 15 as Michigan State edged Ole Miss 73-70 to punch its ticket to the Elite Eight. The Spartans (30-6) rallied from a 10-point first-half hole and held off a late Rebels push to advance to their 15th Elite Eight in program history.
Ole Miss (24-12) was led by Sean Pedulla’s 24 points and 13 from Matthew Murrell, but the Rebels couldn’t complete a last-minute comeback. Michigan State now sets up a heavyweight clash with No. 1 Auburn on Sunday.
