The first of several NFL London games takes place today when the Jacksonville Jaguars play the Atlanta Falcons. Today’s game begins a string of three straight that will be played overseas. Interestingly, the Jaguars will stay in London and play the Buffalo Bills next week. The venue will change though as Jacksonville plays in Wembley Stadium today and at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next week.
Game time today is 9:30 a.m. ET. The early start is due to the time difference. London is five hours ahead of Eastern Standard time. That means the NFL London games will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. local time. Whenever any NFL games are being played somewhere in Europe, it is always going to be an early kickoff if it’s an afternoon game.
NFL London Games Part of International Series
Now, the NFL London games are part of a larger NFL International series. European fans love American football almost as much as SEC football fans do. The 2023 season marks the most international games played. There are five this season, including three NFL London games. As mentioned, the Jags play the Falcons this week and the Bills next week. In Week 6, the Baltimore Ravens will face the Tennessee Titans also at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. That will wrap up this season’s NFL London games.
The other international games will be played in Germany. There are two games. Both will be played at Frankfurt Stadium. In Week 9, fans will be treated to what should be one of the best games of the season. The Miami Dolphins will take on the Kansas City Chiefs. It should provide plenty of offense for the German crowd.
The following week, the Indianapolis Colts will face the New England Patriots in the final game of the NFL International Series. The series has been something the NFL has promoted since 2005 when NFL Europe folded. The NFL London games have been in place since 2007. Through the years, the league has held games in Mexico and in Germany. Beginning in 2016, the NFL London games expanded to more stadiums. The same is true of the Mexico games and the German games.
Our Computer Picks Crushed It Yesterday
Absolutely on fire. My cousin Computer Picks had himself a day yesterday. You have to remember, Computer Picks isn’t always working. Sometimes, he goes on a bender for a couple days because his algorithm doesn’t provide him with any good picks. He only releases picks when there is at least a two-point difference between the actual betting line and his computer-generated line.
So, yesterday there were 50 such instances. Yes, 50! Computer Picks put in 50 pick in the system yesterday and if you’re a Sports Hub member and decided to bet on all 50 games, you’d have a much fatter wallet today.
Here’s how Computer Picks and the rest of our elite handicappers did yesterday.
- Unprecedented day: Man, Computer Picks just killed it. For the day, he went 32-18 and won $1172. There was one MLB pick in there, but the rest were all college football. That’s just outstanding! If Computer Picks has any picks for the NFL London games this year, you might want to jump on those. Just sayin’.
- My impersonation of Computer Picks: Mike Kelly did his best Computer Picks impersonation, but can anybody really imitate my cousin? Anyway, Mike had a great day too. He hit on 13 of his 18 picks, all of which were on college football games. Mike added $700 to his bankroll. He has NFL picks for today and he’s another guy to watch for NFL London games picks.
- Perfect Saturday: How about a perfect Saturday for Sports Hub expert Gino De Luca? That’s exactly what he did, going 5-0 and taking home $620. Gino hit on a couple of soccer picks as well as a couple college football picks. He’s now up $1121 over the last 30 days.
- Knup Sports: Knup Sports has had itself a week. They went off on some college football yesterday, going 11-5 and winning $494. For the week, Knup Sports won $1069 and they rank No. 1 for the week in MLB winnings with $799. You might want to see if they have any NFL London games picks in the system.
- Sports Hub experts: Ben Miller and William Taylor are well-known names here. The pair of SportsHub experts went a combined 9-1 yesterday to win $790. William went 4-0 ($400) and Ben went 5-1 ($390). Both of these guys are ones to watch for NFL London games picks, or any picks for that matter.
MLB Playoff Field Set, Great Day for Football
The final day of the 2023 MLB regular season won’t mean much. The entire playoff field was determined as a result of yesterday’s games. It was a big day for several college football teams on Saturday. Today we get another dose of NFL football and it all kicks off with the first of three NFL London games this season.
Let’s look at what is trending in today’s sports.
- Brock Bowers: Someday, the Georgia TE may play in the NFL London games, but yesterday he was on fire. He had 8 catches for 157 yards and a touchdown. He was a big part of why Georgia survived yesterday in a 27-20 win over Auburn.
- MLB playoffs set: Justin Verlander pitched another gem and Houston beat Arizona, but the Diamondbacks clinched a playoff spot anyway. Miami also clinched what will be just their fourth trip to the postseason. With Seattle’s loss, Toronto also clinched an AL wild card berth leaving the MLB’s playoff field set heading into today, the final day of the regular season.

- SEC track meet: If you didn’t watch LSU-Ole Miss last night, you missed a good basketball game. There were 1,343 total yards, 65 first downs and a total of 104 points. No. 20 Ole Miss outlasted No. 13 LSU 55-49 in SEC action yesterday.
- NFL London games: Well, I’ve been talking about it all day. The first of three NFL London games kicks off this morning at 9:30 a.m. ET. Wembley Stadium will be packed and you can bet the fans there will be overindulging in some of England’s best brews.

- NASCAR: If you’re a NASCAR fan, you know that it’s playoff time. Today is the NASCAR Cup Series at Talladega Superspeedway. It is not known if Ricky Bobby will be in the house.
- Final day of Ryder Cup: Europe leads Team USA 12-6 heading into the final day of play at the Ryder Cup. It would take nothing short of a miracle for the USA to win the event.
- Soccer: There are more matches from the world’s top professional soccer leagues. The English Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, and MLS all have at least one match on the schedule. Check the Sports Hub members’ area for soccer picks.
- Final day of the season: It is the last day of the 2023 MLB regular season. As mentioned, all of the playoff spots are set.
- WNBA playoffs: The New York Liberty can punch their ticket to the WNBA Finals with a win over Connecticut today. That would set up a showdown between No. 2 New York and No. 1 Las Vegas for the title.
- NHL: There is preseason hockey today. Another Kraft Hockeyville game is on the schedule. Florida plays at Ottawa among the four games today.
- Tennis: Men’s tennis continues in the China Open and the Astana Open. The Rolex Shanghai Masters begins today. The women’s China Open also continues today.
