Chiefs 16, Broncos 14 – Butker’s Late Field Goal and Chenal’s Block Secure Kansas City’s Win

Harrison Butker kicked three field goals, including a 20-yarder with 5:57 left to give Kansas City the lead, as the Chiefs narrowly defeated the Denver Broncos 16-14 to remain undefeated. Patrick Mahomes threw for 266 yards and a touchdown, while Butker’s kick put Kansas City ahead late. A critical blocked field goal by Leo Chenal preserved the Chiefs’ victory as Denver’s Wil Lutz’s attempt was denied in the final seconds.

Denver, taking advantage of a late kickoff out-of-bounds, drove into field goal range but fell short due to Chenal’s crucial block, dropping to 5-5.

49ers 23, Buccaneers 20 – Moody’s Last-Second FG Lifts San Francisco Past Tampa Bay

Jake Moody drilled a 44-yard field goal as time expired to give the San Francisco 49ers a 23-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Christian McCaffrey made his season debut for the 49ers with 107 total yards, while Ricky Pearsall’s early touchdown marked an inspiring first NFL score.

Panthers 20, Giants 17 (OT) – Pineiro’s OT Field Goal Seals Carolina’s Win in Germany

Eddy Pineiro hit a 36-yard field goal in overtime to lift the Carolina Panthers to a 20-17 win over the New York Giants in Munich. Bryce Young threw for 126 yards and a touchdown, while Chuba Hubbard rushed for a career-high 153 yards. Tyrone Tracy Jr.’s overtime fumble set up Carolina’s winning kick.

Daniel Jones had a rough outing for New York, throwing two interceptions, while a last-minute field goal forced overtime before the Giants fell to 2-8.


Patriots 19, Bears 3 – Defensive Dominance Carries New England Past Chicago

New England’s defense led the way with nine sacks in a 19-3 win over the Chicago Bears. Deatrich Wise Jr. and Anfernee Jennings each recorded two sacks, while Patriots QB Drake Maye passed for 184 yards and a touchdown.

Bears QB Caleb Williams struggled under pressure, completing just 16 of 30 passes for 120 yards. Chicago’s offense, limited to 142 total yards, failed to find the end zone and fell to 4-5.


Bills 30, Colts 20 – Allen’s Big Day Propels Buffalo to Fifth Straight Win

Josh Allen threw for 280 yards and added a rushing touchdown as the Buffalo Bills beat the Indianapolis Colts 30-20, extending their winning streak to five games. Despite two interceptions, Allen’s offensive output helped Buffalo maintain a stronghold in the AFC East.

Indianapolis’ Joe Flacco passed for 272 yards and two touchdowns but threw three interceptions. Running back Jonathan Taylor rushed for 114 yards but couldn’t keep the Colts from their fourth loss in five games.


Saints 20, Falcons 17 – New Orleans Ends Skid with Carr’s Strong Outing

Derek Carr passed for 269 yards and two touchdowns, leading the New Orleans Saints to a 20-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons and snapping their seven-game losing streak. Marquez Valdes-Scantling was Carr’s top target, amassing 109 yards and two touchdowns.

Kirk Cousins threw for 306 yards for Atlanta, with Bijan Robinson rushing for 116 yards and two touchdowns, but the Falcons’ late rally came up short.

Steelers 28, Commanders 27 – Williams’ Late TD Pushes Pittsburgh Past Washington

Newly acquired Mike Williams scored a 32-yard touchdown with 2:22 left, lifting the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 28-27 victory over the Washington Commanders. Russell Wilson passed for 195 yards and three touchdowns, helping Pittsburgh improve to 7-2.

Washington’s Jayden Daniels had 202 passing yards, with Terry McLaurin leading in receiving yards, but the Commanders were unable to prevent the Steelers’ late-game heroics.


Vikings 12, Jaguars 7 – Rookie Romo’s Four FGs Lead Minnesota in Defensive Battle

John Parker Romo made four field goals in his NFL debut, securing the Minnesota Vikings a 12-7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Romo, a rookie kicker, provided all of Minnesota’s points, while Sam Darnold’s three interceptions nearly cost the Vikings.

Jacksonville’s Mac Jones scored the team’s lone touchdown on a quarterback sneak, but the Jaguars struggled offensively without injured Trevor Lawrence.


Chargers 27, Titans 17 – Herbert Sparks LA to Third Straight Win

Justin Herbert threw for 164 yards and added a rushing touchdown as the Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Tennessee Titans 27-17. Herbert’s precision in the second half helped the Chargers extend their winning streak to three games, backed by a strong defensive effort with seven sacks.

Titans QB Will Levis returned from injury, throwing for 175 yards and two touchdowns, but Tennessee fell to 2-7 with another road loss.


Cardinals 31, Jets 6 – Murray Sets Completion Record as Arizona Rolls

Kyler Murray set a team record with 17 consecutive completions, leading the Arizona Cardinals to a dominant 31-6 victory over the New York Jets. Murray threw for 266 yards and two rushing touchdowns, while the Cardinals’ defense kept the Jets out of the end zone.

Jets QB Aaron Rodgers threw for 151 yards in another loss, as New York fell to 3-7.

Eagles 34, Cowboys 6 – Hurts’ Dual Threat Performance Leads Philadelphia

Jalen Hurts threw for two touchdowns and rushed for two more as the Philadelphia Eagles routed the Dallas Cowboys 34-6. Hurts totaled 258 yards and led Philadelphia to its fifth consecutive win.

Dallas, without QB Dak Prescott, struggled offensively with only 146 yards, as Cooper Rush and Trey Lance couldn’t generate much against the Eagles’ defense.
