What have we learned from the 2023 NFL season so far? A lot. My weekly NFL reports have been trying to summarize all the drama and crazy storylines so far. Could Aaron Rodgers even make a surprise return this year? Check out my NFL Week 9 Report below for all the latest!
NFL Week 9 Report – Tonny Ricci Goes 3-0 on NFL Sunday
I have spoken about Tonny Ricci a lot when it comes to betting on the NFL and he is regularly one of our top guys. He smashed it on Sunday to turn a nice $300 profit. He is our second best NFL capper over the past two weeks, winning seven of his nine picks. Tonny Ricci is the top feature of our NFL Week 9 Report!
It was a very successful Monday Night Football for our experts too. A total of 17 of them walked away with a very tidy $100 profit each.
Patrick Doyle is our top capper over the past week. He has a 100% record from his four selections, winning two totals and two spreads.

NFL Top Cappers
Did you know that 25 of our handicappers have won 100% of their bets over the last seven days? That’s a pretty incredible stat and just goes to show how great our experts are.
If you’re not signed up to Sports Hub yet, then, what are you doing? Clearly our guys know what they’re doing and they are consistently bringing you winners. If you want reliable NFL picks, be sure to look out for our top cappers.
My NFL Week 9 report will now examine Sunday’s best performers.
Here’s a list of our top cappers from NFL Sunday:
- Tonny Ricci: one of our top NFL cappers. He went 3-0 on Sunday to net a very tasty $300 profit. He correctly tipped three spread bets, backing the underdogs to cover in each.
- Ryan Davis and Patrick Doyle: two new experts near the top of our NFL leaderboards. They both had a very successful Sunday, winning 100% of their picks to earn $200 each. The latter also correctly hit the under on the total for the Chargers-Jets game.
- Sports Central and Al Grant had very strong days as well, winning 75% of their four selections each to turn profits of $196 and $190 respectively.
NFL Week 9 Report – Trending News
I haven’t even mentioned what’s actually been happening across the league in my NFL Week 9 Report yet. However, now is the time to take a look at the trending news.
The Baltimore Ravens may be the best team in football. They are now 7-2 after easily beating the Seattle Seahawks 37-3 during Week 9. Are they the most complete team in the NFL?
C.J. Stroud was in the headlines again after he led an incredible 39-37 victory for the Houston Texans against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. What a talent he is. And, he broke another record on Sunday.
Finally, could Rodgers actually play again this season? His recovery would be quite the turnaround and his comments from MNF have caused quite the stir.
Here are some of the highlights in my NFL Week 9 Report:
- Ravenous Ravens: Baltimore has certainly appeared ravenous of late and their offense can’t stop scoring. They have now scored at least 30 points three weeks in a row, making light work of their NFC opponents. The domination they have shown against the likes of the Detroit Lions and the Seahawks of late is particularly impressive.
- Record-breaker Stroud: Earlier on this season, Stroud broke the record for the most pass attempts for a rookie without throwing a pick. He was back at it again this weekend after he threw for 470 yards and five touchdowns, a single-game rookie record. He led a 75-yard, game-winning drive to seal the win against the Bucs with less than ten seconds left on the clock.
- Joshua Dobbs: Wow. What a performance. Dobbs had as little as five days to prepare for his debut for the Minnesota Vikings against the Atlanta Falcons. He didn’t even know everybody’s name! Rookie Jaren Hall was set to play under center but he suffered a concussion in the first quarter. Dobbs stepped up in the final two minutes of the game to complete a 22-yard scramble on fourth down, before throwing a game-winning touchdown for Brandon Powell.
- Rodgers’ Return?!: Aaron Rodgers was expected to be out for the season after tearing his Achilles tendon after just four plays during Week 1. However, he was seen at MetLife Stadium on MNF throwing balls for the first time. He even told Chargers safety Derwin James that he’ll be back in a few weeks. What a crazy recovery and story that would be!

A look To Our Week 10 NFL Report
We saw some incredible individual performances last week that were fully deserving of being mentioned in my NFL Week 9 Report.
It’s time now to take a sneak peek at what’s coming up in Week 10:
- Thursday Night Football: It’s the Carolina Panthers @ the Chicago Bears on TNF this week. Justin Fields is considered day-to-day and could feature. Meanwhile, Bryce Young needs to show an improvement after a slow start to his NFL career.
- Kyler Murray is back: The Arizona Cardinals quarterback has been trending and that’s because head coach Jonathan Gannon has announced he will start against the Falcons. As long as he doesn’t suffer any injury setbacks, he is set to play for the first time since Week 14 of the 2022 season.
- NFL Sunday: There are a total of 12 games on the schedule on Sunday. NFL Germany continues this weekend too as the New England Patriots go up against the Indianapolis Colts in Frankfurt.
- Monday Night Football: Week 10 will finish up with the Denver Broncos visiting the Buffalo Bills. The Broncos have won back-to-back games and return after a Week 9 bye. The Bills haven’t won two in a row since Week 3 and 4 and also lost to the Cincinnati Bengals last week.
We have another incredibly exciting week of NFL action coming up. Sports are on literally non-stop during this time of year and we love it! Thanks for checking out my NFL Week 9 Report. I’ll be back next week after Week 10.
