Brandon Saad broke a 19-game goal drought with his third career hat trick to lead the St. Louis Blues past the Ottawa Senators in a 4-0 victory in St. Louis.
Jordan Binnington stopped all 20 shots he faced for his 18th career shutout and third this season. Brayden Schenn also found the back of the net, helping the Blues secure their fourth win in five games and climb to two games over .500 for the first time since October.

Juuse Saros turned away 27 shots to secure his fourth shutout of the season as Nashville blanked host Vancouver.
Steven Stamkos opened the scoring, while Gustav Nyquist and Colton Sissons each contributed a goal and an assist for the Predators, who ended a three-game skid. Saros’ 27th career shutout helped Nashville improve during its six-game road trip.
The Canucks, with backup Kevin Lankinen in goal due to Thatcher Demko’s back spasms, fell short as Lankinen made 16 saves on 17 shots.
Panthers 3, Penguins 2 (SO)
Sam Reinhart and Anton Lundell scored in the shootout to lift Florida over visiting Pittsburgh in Sunrise, Fla.
Panthers backup goalie Spencer Knight stopped 29 shots in regulation and overtime, then denied Rickard Rakell and Sidney Crosby in the shootout. Florida got regulation goals from Matthew Tkachuk and Gustav Forsling.
Tristan Jarry made 31 saves for Pittsburgh but managed just one stop in the shootout.
Blackhawks 4, Canadiens 2
Nick Foligno tallied two goals and Arvid Soderblom made 38 saves as Chicago ended a five-game losing streak with a win over visiting Montreal.
Tyler Bertuzzi and Patrick Maroon also scored for the Blackhawks, who secured their first victory since Dec. 19 despite Montreal’s Emil Heineman pulling the Canadiens within a goal midway through the third period.
The Canadiens saw their three-game winning streak come to an end.

Oilers 3, Ducks 2
Leon Draisaitl’s tiebreaking goal with 1:35 left lifted Edmonton to a home victory over Anaheim, extending the Oilers’ dominance in the series to eight wins in their last nine meetings.
Draisaitl, now on a 13-game point streak (11 goals, 14 assists), scored from the bottom of the right circle to seal the game. Darnell Nurse added a goal and an assist, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins also scored, and Stuart Skinner made 27 saves for Edmonton.
Brett Leason and Jackson LaCombe scored for Anaheim, while Lukas Dostal stopped 23 shots. The Ducks fell short of a four-game winning streak for the first time this season.
