Carter Verhaeghe had a goal and an assist to lead the Florida Panthers to a 5-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks in Anaheim. Sam Reinhart, Evan Rodrigues, and Sam Bennett also scored for the Panthers, who extended their point streak against Anaheim to 10 games (9-0-1).

The Ducks got goals from Frank Vatrano and Mason McTavish, but they couldn’t overcome a four-game losing streak.

Sabres Rally to Beat Canucks

Jiri Kulich posted a goal and two assists as the visiting Buffalo Sabres rallied for a 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks. JJ Peterka and Tage Thompson also scored for Buffalo, which bounced back after losing three of its previous four games.

The Canucks got goals from Phillip Di Giuseppe and Elias Pettersson, but their struggles continued as they fell to 2-5-2 in their past nine games. Thatcher Demko stopped 23 shots in the loss.
