Timo Meier netted his 200th career NHL goal, powering the New Jersey Devils to a 3-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken in Newark. The win marked New Jersey’s second consecutive victory and sixth in its last eight outings.

Jesper Bratt had a goal and an assist, while Luke Hughes also scored for the Devils. Jack Hughes added two assists, and goaltender Jacob Markstrom made 17 saves to preserve the win.

Seattle’s Andre Burakovsky and Shane Wright scored, but the Kraken’s two-game winning streak came to a halt. Philipp Grubauer delivered a commendable performance with 33 saves on 36 shots but took the loss.

Blake Lizotte and Philip Tomasino scored for Pittsburgh, which had its season-high four-game winning streak snapped.


Golden Knights Hold Off Stars in 3-2 Victory

Adin Hill made 38 saves to backstop the Vegas Golden Knights to a 3-2 win over the Dallas Stars. Jack Eichel and Tomas Hertl each scored power-play goals to help Vegas secure its third consecutive victory.

Shea Theodore recorded two assists, and Nicolas Roy also found the back of the net for the Pacific Division-leading Golden Knights. The team improved to 11-3-0 at home.

Dallas received goals from Mason Marchment and Mavrik Bourque but concluded its western road trip with a 1-2-0 record. Jake Oettinger made 25 saves for the Stars, who struggled with discipline, taking six minor penalties.


Canucks Rally to Beat Blue Jackets 5-2

Pius Suter scored two goals in the third period, and Brock Boeser added a goal and an assist as the Vancouver Canucks erased a two-goal deficit to defeat the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-2.

Kiefer Sherwood and Jake DeBrusk also scored for Vancouver, which improved to 5-1-1 in its last seven games. Goaltender Kevin Lankinen made 30 saves, while Quinn Hughes added two assists in a commanding performance.

Mathieu Olivier and Damon Severson scored for Columbus, but the Blue Jackets extended their losing streak to three games. Goalie Elvis Merzlikins made 12 saves in the loss.

Marco Rossi Shines as Wild Dominate Ducks 5-1

Marco Rossi scored twice and added an assist to lead the Minnesota Wild to a commanding 5-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. Minnesota extended its winning streak to a season-high five games with the dominant road performance.

Kirill Kaprizov and Matt Boldy each tallied a goal and two assists, while Yakov Trenin also scored. The Wild continued their dominance over the Ducks, improving to 17-1-0 in their last 18 meetings and 12-2-0 in their last 14 visits to Anaheim.

Brock McGinn scored the lone goal for Anaheim, which dropped three of its last four games. John Gibson made 28 saves but fell to 0-5-3 in his last eight starts against Minnesota.
