Winnipeg surpassed Washington in the Presidents’ Trophy race, which is awarded to the team with the best regular-season record.
Jets backup Eric Comrie started but left early due to a collision, forcing Connor Hellebuyck into action just 3:15 into the game. Comrie returned in the second period and stopped 14 of 15 shots, while Hellebuyck made five saves on six shots.
Seattle, which went 2-0-1 on its homestand, got goals from Jani Nyman and Mikey Eyssimont, while Joey Daccord made 23 saves in the loss.
Islanders Storm Back With Three-Goal Third Period to Beat Panthers
Marc Gatcomb, Maxim Tsyplakov, and Noah Dobson scored in a six-minute span in the third period, as the New York Islanders erased a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Florida Panthers 4-2.
Gatcomb sparked the comeback with a wraparound goal, while Tsyplakov broke free on a breakaway to tie the game.
Florida, which has now lost three of its last four games, got goals from Sam Reinhart and Aleksander Barkov.

Mrázek Shuts Out Golden Knights as Red Wings Win 3-0
Petr Mrázek made 18 saves for his first shutout of the season, leading the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-0 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights.
Albert Johansson, Lucas Raymond, and Marco Kasper scored, as Detroit bounced back from losing seven of its previous eight games.
Vegas, now 1-3-1 in its last five games, managed just 18 shots on goal and finished a four-game road trip with a 1-1-2 record.
Avalanche Edge Stars in OT After Late-Game Collapse
Cale Makar scored just 34 seconds into overtime, as the Colorado Avalanche survived a late-game scare to defeat the Dallas Stars 4-3.
Colorado blew a two-goal lead late in the third period, but Makar delivered the winner after Valeri Nichushkin and Jonathan Drouin each had a goal and an assist.
The Avalanche extended their point streak to nine games (8-0-1) and moved within two points of Dallas for second place in the Central Division.
Dallas, which has lost three of four since the trade deadline, saw Jason Robertson, Mavrik Bourque, and Matt Duchene score in the comeback attempt.
Oilers Hold Off Rangers as McDavid Extends Streak
Viktor Arvidsson netted the go-ahead goal early in the third period, and Connor McDavid extended his point streak to 11 games as the Edmonton Oilers downed the New York Rangers 3-1.
McDavid scored on his first shot of the night with 3:25 left in regulation, while Leon Draisaitl picked up an assist to extend his point streak to 18 games.
Edmonton goalie Stuart Skinner made 21 saves, and the Oilers killed all three Rangers’ power plays.
New York’s Will Cuylle scored the lone goal, as the Rangers failed to win three straight and earned just one point in their last three home games.

Blues Dominate Ducks With Seven-Goal Outburst
Dylan Holloway and Jake Neighbours each had a goal and an assist, leading the St. Louis Blues to a 7-2 rout over the Anaheim Ducks.

Vancouver’s Quinn Hughes scored the only goal, as the Canucks remain tied with St. Louis for the final wild-card spot.
