Kyle Connor and Mark Scheifele each scored twice as the Winnipeg Jets continued their red-hot start with a 6-3 win over the New York Rangers. Winnipeg improved to an NHL-best 15-1-0 and remains undefeated on the road (7-0-0). Gabriel Vilardi and Vladislav Namestnikov also scored, and Connor Hellebuyck made 33 saves to secure the Jets’ seventh consecutive win.

Will Cuylle, Alexis Lafreniere, and Kaapo Kakko scored for the Rangers, who have gone 4-4-0 after a strong 5-0-1 season start. Igor Shesterkin made 27 saves in the loss.


Oilers 4, Islanders 3 (OT) – Draisaitl’s Overtime Goal Lifts Edmonton Over New York

Leon Draisaitl scored twice, including the game-winner in overtime, as the Edmonton Oilers edged the New York Islanders 4-3. Connor McDavid added a goal and three assists, putting him within one point of 1,000 for his career. Evan Bouchard also scored, and goalie Stuart Skinner recorded 19 saves for Edmonton.

Anders Lee scored twice and Kyle Palmieri added a goal and an assist for the Islanders, who have lost consecutive games in overtime. Ilya Sorokin made 38 saves in a strong performance.

Senators 3, Maple Leafs 0 – Ullmark Shuts Out Toronto to Extend Ottawa’s Winning Streak

Linus Ullmark stopped all 27 shots he faced as the Ottawa Senators shut out the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-0, marking Ullmark’s first shutout of the season. Josh Norris, Tim Stutzle, and Michael Amadio scored for Ottawa, which has now won four consecutive games in Toronto.

Anthony Stolarz made 38 saves for Toronto, which had its three-game winning streak snapped. The Maple Leafs had not been shut out at home in a regular-season game since November 2021.


Devils 4, Panthers 1 – New Jersey Ends Florida’s Winning Streak Behind Meier’s Goal

Timo Meier scored the game-winner and Jacob Markstrom made 34 saves to lead the New Jersey Devils to a 4-1 victory, ending the Florida Panthers’ seven-game winning streak. Jack Hughes scored in the first period, becoming the fastest player in Devils history to reach 300 career points. Paul Cotter and Ondrej Palat added late goals to secure New Jersey’s sixth win in their past eight games.

Sam Reinhart scored Florida’s only goal, his team-leading 12th of the season, while Spencer Knight made 20 saves in his return to the net.


Bruins 3, Blues 2 – Boston Rallies in Third Period to Defeat St. Louis

David Pastrnak scored the game-winning goal and added an assist as the Boston Bruins overcame a 2-0 deficit to beat the St. Louis Blues 3-2. Charlie McAvoy also contributed a goal and an assist, and Morgan Geekie scored as Boston improved to 4-1-1 in its last six games. Jeremy Swayman made 20 saves to secure the win.

Brayden Schenn and Oskar Sundqvist scored for St. Louis, but their efforts fell short as they dropped their sixth game in eight outings. Goalie Jordan Binnington made 27 saves in the loss.

Canucks 3, Flames 1 – Pettersson Leads Vancouver to Victory Over Calgary

Elias Pettersson scored and had a multi-point game to lead the Vancouver Canucks to a 3-1 win over the Calgary Flames. Erik Brannstrom and Pius Suter each scored, while J.T. Miller added two assists for Vancouver, which recorded only its second home victory this season. Goaltender Kevin Lankinen made 28 saves.

Justin Kirkland scored for Calgary, who was playing its third game in four days. Dan Vladar made 29 saves for the Flames, who struggled to keep pace with Vancouver’s offense.


Kraken 5, Blue Jackets 2 – Seattle’s Fourth Line Sparks Comeback Over Columbus

Tye Kartye and Brandon Tanev led a comeback for the Seattle Kraken, who overcame a two-goal deficit to defeat the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-2. Eeli Tolvanen, Will Borgen, and Jared McCann also scored for Seattle, which improved to 2-0-0 on its six-game homestand. Joey Daccord stopped 38 shots to help secure the win.

Sean Kuraly and Zach Aston-Reese scored for Columbus, extending their losing streak to six games. Goalie Elvis Merzlikins made 28 saves in the loss.
