Jakub Lauko and Mats Zuccarello also scored for Minnesota.
For Pittsburgh, Rickard Rakell scored twice, Valtteri Puustinen added a goal, and Sidney Crosby contributed three assists. The Penguins have now lost six straight games.

Lukas Dostal made a season-high 40 saves as the Anaheim Ducks defeated the New York Islanders. Frank Vatrano recorded a goal and an assist, while Leo Carlsson and Troy Terry added power-play goals for Anaheim.
The Islanders’ lone goal came from Mathew Barzal on a power play, and Ilya Sorokin made 19 saves. New York has now lost three of its last four games.

Alex Ovechkin scored twice, moving him to 857 career goals, as the Washington Capitals defeated the New York Rangers. Aliaksei Protas had a goal and two assists, and Connor McMichael and Nic Dowd each found the net as well.
For the Rangers, Will Cuylle, Chris Kreider, and Filip Chytil scored, while Igor Shesterkin stopped 41 shots in the loss.
Flyers 2, Bruins 0
Samuel Ersson stopped all 23 shots he faced, earning his first shutout of the season as the Philadelphia Flyers blanked the Boston Bruins. Tyson Foerster netted the game-winner in the second period, and Joel Farabee added an empty-netter to seal the win.
The Bruins, with just one win in their past four games, struggled offensively as Joonas Korpisalo made 17 saves.
Kraken 8, Canadiens 2
Defenseman Brandon Montour recorded his first career hat trick as the Seattle Kraken dominated the Montreal Canadiens. Chandler Stephenson assisted on four goals, while Jaden Schwartz contributed a goal and two assists.
The Canadiens saw goals from Cole Caufield and Josh Anderson but couldn’t keep pace. Sam Montembeault was pulled after allowing five goals on 10 shots.

Tim Stutzle scored twice and notched two assists as the Ottawa Senators routed the St. Louis Blues. Brady Tkachuk and Adam Gaudette each scored twice, while Linus Ullmark made 26 saves.
For the Blues, Dylan Holloway scored their only goal, and goalies Joel Hofer and Jordan Binnington combined to allow eight goals on 35 shots.

Jake Walman recorded a goal and two assists as the San Jose Sharks earned their second straight win by defeating the Los Angeles Kings. Fabian Zetterlund, Tyler Toffoli, and William Eklund each scored for San Jose.
The Kings saw goals from Akil Thomas and Alex Laferriere, while David Rittich made 17 saves in the loss.
