Utah Hockey Club Overcomes Pittsburgh Penguins 6-1
Dylan Guenther starred for Utah, scoring twice and assisting on another in a decisive win over the Penguins, snapping a three-game skid. Utah also saw goals from Jack McBain, Mikhail Sergachev, Nick Bjugstad, and Alexander Kerfoot. Clayton Keller contributed three assists, while goalie Karel Vejmelka made 27 saves to earn his first career win against Pittsburgh.
Penguins captain Sidney Crosby netted his 600th career goal in the loss, but Pittsburgh has now dropped eight of its past ten games. Alex Nedeljkovic made 24 saves in net for the Penguins.

Flames Edge Wild in Shootout, 4-3
Rasmus Andersson delivered the shootout winner as Calgary overcame a late Minnesota rally to secure a perfect four-game homestand. The Flames received regulation goals from Kevin Rooney, Martin Pospisil, and Yegor Sharangovich.
For Minnesota, Marco Rossi scored and added an assist, while Matt Boldy extended his point streak to six games with two helpers. The Wild played without star Kirill Kaprizov due to a knee injury.
Golden Knights Dominate Canadiens 6-2
Jack Eichel and Ivan Barbashev each had a goal and two assists, leading Vegas to tie a franchise record with five goals in the second period. Callahan Burke also scored his first NHL goal for the Golden Knights, who snapped Montreal’s three-game win streak.
For the Canadiens, Emil Heineman and Jayden Struble found the net, while Samuel Montembeault and Cayden Primeau combined for 22 saves in goal. Montreal has now lost seven straight to Vegas.
Flyers Rally to Beat Blackhawks in Overtime, 3-2
Rookie Matvei Michkov scored in overtime to cap Philadelphia’s comeback after trailing 2-0 entering the third period. Sean Couturier and Noah Cates also scored, while goalie Aleksei Kolosov made 19 saves for his first NHL win.
Chicago’s Lukas Reichel and Pat Maroon each recorded a goal and an assist, and goalie Petr Mrazek tallied 34 saves in the loss.
Avalanche Outgun Panthers 7-4
Jonathan Drouin scored his first two goals of the season, helping Colorado earn a road win in Florida. Mikko Rantanen continued his torrid form with a goal and three assists, while goalie Alexandar Georgiev stopped 27 shots for his fifth consecutive win.
Florida’s Sam Reinhart notched his league-leading 16th goal but couldn’t prevent his team’s fifth loss in six games.
Canucks Hold Off Senators 4-3
Despite losing Quinn Hughes to a game misconduct in the first period, Vancouver edged Ottawa thanks to two goals and an assist from Jake DeBrusk. Kiefer Sherwood also scored for the Canucks, who extended their road-winning streak to seven games.
Ottawa’s Brady Tkachuk scored his 10th goal of the season and received a misconduct penalty late in the game. The Senators, winless in five games, mounted a late comeback with goals from Claude Giroux and Tim Stutzle.

Oilers Cruise Past Rangers 6-2
Connor McDavid powered Edmonton with two goals and an assist, supported by a goal and an assist each from Leon Draisaitl and Darnell Nurse. Connor Brown and Mattias Janmark added two assists apiece, while goalie Vasily Podkolzin stopped 33 shots.
For New York, Artemi Panarin scored twice, but goalie Jonathan Quick allowed six goals on 40 shots in the loss. The Rangers have now lost eight of their last eleven meetings with the Oilers.
