Kirill Kaprizov continued his hot streak, tallying two goals and an assist to lead the Minnesota Wild to a 5-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. Minnesota now boasts a 7-1-1 road record, topping the NHL with 15 points away from home. Kaprizov, leading the league with 27 points (nine goals, 18 assists), has recorded three points in back-to-back games and achieved six three-point performances in just 14 games this season.

Marco Rossi contributed a goal and an assist, while Brock Faber added two assists. Jake Middleton and Marcus Foligno also found the net as the Wild extended their winning streak to two games. In goal, Filip Gustavsson stopped 33 of 35 shots. For Anaheim, Robby Fabbri and Mason McTavish scored, but the Ducks are now winless in four straight games. Lukas Dostal made 26 saves on 31 shots in the loss.

Kraken 4, Golden Knights 3 (OT) – McCann Lifts Seattle in Overtime

Jared McCann netted the overtime winner as the Seattle Kraken edged out the Vegas Golden Knights with a 4-3 victory. Brandon Tanev scored twice, and Oliver Bjorkstrand added another goal for Seattle, with Joey Daccord making 21 saves.

Penguins 4, Capitals 2 – Malkin’s Late Goal Pushes Pittsburgh Past Washington

Evgeni Malkin broke the tie in the third period and added an assist to lead the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 4-2 win over the Washington Capitals. Erik Karlsson contributed with a goal and an assist, while Michael Bunting and Noel Acciari each scored. Goaltender Joel Blomqvist made 32 saves, helping the Penguins snap a two-game losing streak.

Washington’s Rasmus Sandin and Andrew Mangiapane each found the net, but the Capitals’ seven-game home winning streak ended. Charlie Lindgren stopped 28 shots in the loss.

Maple Leafs 3, Red Wings 1 – Tavares’ Two Goals Power Toronto

John Tavares scored twice as the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Detroit Red Wings 3-1, extending their perfect start to a four-game homestand. Mitch Marner contributed with a goal and an assist, and Morgan Rielly added two assists. Toronto’s goaltender Anthony Stolarz made 21 saves, helping the team improve to 2-0-0 on their homestand.

Dylan Larkin scored Detroit’s lone goal. The Red Wings, who were aiming for their second three-game win streak of the season, saw their hopes dashed as goaltender Cam Talbot managed 17 saves in the loss.
