The Premier League action resumes on Saturday, November 11, meaning it’s time to prepare your Matchweek 12 predictions and picks.
Admittedly, Matchweek 11 wasn’t much fun from a betting perspective. With upsets and freak results occurring across the board, it’s fair to say that last weekend’s fixtures produced more than a few shocks.
That makes me even more determined to nail my Premier League Matchweek 12 predictions. First, we need to assess the recent results and evaluate the latest odds.
Matchweek 11 Premier League Recap
Before we dive into my Matchweek 12 predictions, let’s recap last weekend’s action. Arsenal and Tottenham both tasted defeat for the first time this season, while Sheffield United finally picked up a maiden victory in 2023-24.
PREMIER LEAGUE RESULTS (MATCHWEEK 11)
- Fulham 0-1 Manchester United
- Brentford 3-2 West Ham United
- Manchester City 6-1 Bournemouth
- Sheffield United 2-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers
- Burnley 0-2 Crystal Palace
- Everton 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
- Newcastle United 1-0 Arsenal
- Nottingham Forest 2-0 Aston Villa
- Luton Town 1-1 Liverpool
- Tottenham Hotspur 1-4 Chelsea
Spurs endured a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Chelsea on Monday, although the result doesn’t tell half the story. Not only did the game produce five goals, but it also served up four disallowed goals, multiple VAR checks and two red cards.
Other standout results include Manchester City’s 6-1 mauling of Bournemouth and Brentford’s come-from-behind victory over West Ham. The Blades triumphed for the first time this season, while Luton managed to hold Liverpool to a draw.

Fixtures and Odds for Matchweek 12
It’s almost time for me to reveal my Matchweek 12 predictions and picks. However, in order to track down the greatest betting value, we need to find out what the bookies make of this weekend’s Premier League fixtures.
PREMIER LEAGUE ODDS AND FIXTURES (MATCHWEEK 12)
- Wolverhampton Wanderers (+200) vs. Tottenham Hotspur (+115)
- Manchester United (-300) vs. Luton Town (+700)
- Arsenal (-550) vs. Burnley (+1200)
- Crystal Palace (+140) vs. Everton (+200)
- Bournemouth (+350) vs. Newcastle United (-150)
- Aston Villa (-175) vs. Fulham (+425)
- Brighton & Hove Albion (-450) vs. Sheffield United (+900)
- West Ham United (-118) vs. Nottingham Forest (+300)
- Liverpool (-250) vs. Brentford (+550)
- Chelsea (+350) vs. Manchester City (-138)
As you can see, Manchester United, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brighton, West Ham and Liverpool are the heavy home favorites this weekend. Crystal Palace is also favored to win on home soil, although Everton is expected to give the Eagles a run for their money.
Tottenham, Newcastle and Manchester City are the only road favorites for Matchweek 12. That said, Wolves will fancy their chances of heaping more misery on Spurs, while Chelsea will be confident of frustrating Man City after crushing Spurs.
Premier League Matchweek 12 Predictions
It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Here are my Premier League Matchweek 12 predictions and picks. I have decided to focus on three standout matchups, each of which presents solid betting value.
We have a nice even spread of games this weekend, with five scheduled for Saturday and five scheduled for Sunday. Saturday’s early kick-off sees Wolves host Tottenham, while Sunday’s late kick-off sees Man City travel to Stamford Bridge.
My Matchweek 12 predictions concern the showdown between Chelsea and Man City, as well as Manchester United vs. Luton Town and Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Sheffield United. Ready? Let’s get this show on the road!
Manchester United vs. Luton Town Prediction
Luton will be full of confidence after holding Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at Kenilworth Road last weekend. Despite conceding 24 shots while seeing just 26% of the ball, the Hatters managed to snatch a point against the Reds.
Meanwhile, Manchester United needed a 91st-minute winner from Bruno Fernandes to defeat Fulham 1-0 last time out. Although the Red Devils have flattered to deceive this season, they have won three of their previous four EPL matches.
With that in mind, I’m backing Erik ten Hag’s men to claim all three points on Saturday. Granted, their price of -300 is nothing to write home about, but I can’t see Luton upsetting the odds at Old Trafford.
Best Bet: Manchester United (-300)
Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Sheffield United Prediction
Following 10 failed attempts, Sheffield United finally picked up their first Premier League victory of the season last weekend. In the 100th minute of their game against Wolves, the Blades benefitted from an Oliver Norwood penalty.
Still, there is no hiding the fact that Sheff Utd has taken just four points from a possible 33 this term. At the opposite end of the table, Brighton occupies seventh place thanks to a record of five wins, three draws and three losses.
The Seagulls made a flying start to the season, winning five of their first six league outings, but they have failed to taste victory since then. That said, Sunday’s clash with bottom-of-the-table Sheff Utd provides Roberto De Zerbi’s men with the ideal opportunity to bounce back.

Chelsea vs. Manchester City Prediction
In all honesty, making a Chelsea vs. Man City prediction is no easy task. Of course, City is the clear favorite to triumph on Sunday, but there is no denying that Mauricio Pochettino’s men have upped their game recently.
The Blues secured a 4-1 victory over Tottenham last time out, with Nicolas Jackson netting a hat-trick. Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola’s men crushed the Cherries 6-1, with Jeremy Doku racking up five goal involvements.
Table-topping Man City leads 10th-placed Chelsea by 12 points after 11 matches, but it feels like anything could happen at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. For that reason, I recommend exploring the goal markets for this game.
