The Myrtle Beach Bowl kicks off bowl season

There are 42 bowl games this season. They begin today and conclude on New Year’s Day. This year’s bowl games include the College Football Playoff semfinal games. The Rose Bowl pits top-seeded Michigan against No. 4 Alabama. The Sugar Bowl has No. 2 Washington playing No. 3 Texas. The winners of those two bowl games play in the CFP national championship on Jan. 9.

Sports Hub Gets Your Ready for Bowl Games

With so many bowl games, it can be difficult to figure out which ones to bet on and how to bet them. With 42 bowl games, that means there are 84 teams involved. Most CFB bettors will not know a lot about many of the teams competing in bowl games. That’s where SportsHub comes in.

Our expert handicappers have put together a bowl preview for you and offer you some of the best picks from all of the bowl games. You can access our expert college football bowl game picks at any time during the bowl season. The other easy thing you can do is check the Sports Hub picks database. You can check it anytime, but if you like certain bowl games be sure to check the database the day of the game for picks from our experts. Here’s why.

The Sports Hub Insider is just one of many SportsHub expert handicappers that consistently wins. The Insider was the top capper on our leaderboard yesterday. Over the last two weeks, the Insider has won nearly 58 percent of his picks and accumulated almost $1000 in winnings. If we go back even further, we’ll find that the Sports Hub Insider is our No. 1-ranked capper over the last 30 days.

  • The Insider: With tons of inside information, the Insider is able to outperform the competition on a consistent basis. Yesterday, he went 4-0 and won $483. He hit on the Sabres to beat the Knights in Vegas as +183 underdogs! That gives the Insider a 60.7 percent winning percentage and winnings of $2310 over the last 30 days.
  • Sean loves hockey: Sean Kuchman is a relatively newer Sports Hub expert and he’s loving hockey right now. Nine of his 10 picks yesterday were NHL picks. He went 7-3 overall and earned $370.

One Streak Ends, Another Continues

Friday’s NBA would have been a great time to make some great first half bets. You didn’t want to make those bets on the Detroit Pistons, though. Their misery continues. San Antonio, on the other hand, finally has a reason to smile.

Here’s what is trending today.

  • Spurs end streak: San Antonio got 36 points from Devin Vassell and a double-double from rookie Victor Wembenyana in a 129-115 win over the Lakers last night. It was the Spurs first win since Nov. 2 and it ends an 18-game losing streak. That’s something to smile about. You’d also be smiling if you followed the six Sports Hub cappers that picked the Spurs.
  • Pistons lose again: While the Spurs got a win, the Pistons chalked up another loss. This one was significant because it set a franchise record – 22 straight. Not only did Detroit get beat, they got spanked by the Philadelphia 76ers 124-92. To make matters worse, the Pistons have to play at Milwaukee tonight.
  • Bowl games: Bowl season kicks off today with six of the 42 bowl games. It’s a great time of year when you can watch a college football game pretty much every day from now until Jan. 1.
  • Saturday NFL: It is definitely a great time of year because not only do we get college football bowl games, but we also get some Saturday NFL action. We’ll tell you who’s playing in our next section when we look at the day’s schedule. Get ready for the action with our Week 15 NFL picks page.
